Nitrofurantoin + MDMA/aMT

Started taking Nitrofurantoin yesterday for a urinary tract infection and I'm meant to take them for 7 days. I have plans for Sunday night that include the consumption of MDMA and aMT. Did a bit of research but I failed to find much info on the combinations. Would this be particularly dangerous?
 
Yes. It is dangerous.

aMT + MDMA is dangerous by itself. aMT has been shown to have MAOI properties, this makes it very unsafe to combine with MDMA, as MAOis and MDMA can and will often lead to death. Some people have done this combination and been just fine.. others have taken it and died. This is NOT a safe thing to be doing, so don't do it.



Oh, and da fuq.. your on an antibiotic as well? You can't take MDMA and antibiotics dude.. aMT as well, I am sure. You really need to do some more research, you're playing with your life here.
 
Why is taking an antibiotic dangerous with MDMA, specifically the one I'm taking? Can't find much about it.
 
It's in the list of "antibiotics should be, theoretically, safe to combine with MDMA" but I don't know what "this may cause oxidative stress and so MDMA would be best avoided" means. And if I wasn't able to take MDMA then it would totally ruin my plans.
 
dont do it man. just wait a week or 2.

oh and i guess the Amt MDMA combo is a bad idea man. if you have to roll then i suggest you just roll and dont mix that shit as Folley said.

it means that there's a chance that the combination can create "free radicals". Free radicals are believed to be the cause of cancer.
 
I don't like to take the risk of combinations going wrong, at end of the day what we are all saying is you could die.

Whats the point in that when you've read and now know the possible bad interactions... Just wait it out
 
Yeah it's just pretty annoying because I've spent the last month tapering off an SSRI for the sole purpose of going to this event but what can you do eh? Wouldn't fancy a bit of cancer.
 
So would it be ok if I just took the aMT while on the antibiotics or is oxidative stress still a risk?
