Moses yeah that was it. I get you with the thought it was the end. I thought so too. Thought they were trying to sign off. I just relate to seeing everything as shit though.

Nowt wrong with passionate debate, Ben.

Agreed. When it drifts into 'fuck you, fuck you' territory though I switch off.

Oh and 'screw you guys, I'm going home'

Cartman is king.

Respect my authoritaaaaaaah.

Me, yesterday...

=D I love Cartman so much. Almost as much as I love his pig and the fact that they're called 'cheesy poofs'. I remember getting my ex a tshirt with Cartman on a tricycle looking all intense and 'respect my authoritaaah' written in bed yellow letters. It was bitchin'.

Leaves a nasty taste in my mouth. Confrontation that is. Not nice.

No I know what you mean. Debate shouldn't need to end in big rows though. I saw a guy throw a chair across the room at a philos lecturer a few weeks ago. It was a real surprise.. he seemed like basically a rational type of fella just unable to handle his emotions. At least not on this occasion anyway.

I saw him by coincidence the next day and he was apologetic and looked really embarrassed.

Blimey, Jess. Which philosopher were you discussing :D

ummm gawd I cant remember erm we were discussing the Problem of Evil... Anselm I think.

Or maybe he just had the hump with the lecturers whole stance on the subject. Knocked her zimmer over and everything.

Not going to look good at confession.

Nietzsche.

My missus loves Cartman as well, everyone I know loves him. But he's the fucking anti-christ. Funny how you root for the black sheep sometimes.

Evil characters are always more fun though aren't they.

And lol about Nietzsche, we always get into massive fights in my philosophy class whenever he's brought up. He's the only guy the professor doesn't even try to be impartial about. Although the fact that I'm always going on about how French philosophers were smarter and Brit ones were twats usually gets a few angry responses ;)
(I'm kidding you guys are cool, but I've gotta defend my country here)

Can't actually remember which philoshopher's philosophy I favour. Only one ever made much sense to me but buggered if I can ever remember his name. Is not one of the massively famous ones but well-known enough that I should remember his name. Or nationality. But I can't. His ideas were great though. Late 19th/early 20th Century fella vaguely in the vicinity of Marx and Engels but not really Communist as such. Answeres onna postcard.

Incidentally, I quite like Nietzsche too. Think he gets a bad rap. And you can't argue with a 'tache like that <3

You deserve a couple of chairs thrown at you for that.

Just defending mine :)

Pagey have you heard Gabriela y Rodriguez's cover of Stairway To Heaven?

Ooh I haven't, I'll check it out now :)

hehe <3

I'm partial to Kant personally. I think the crowning achievement of my life so far was reading the Critique of Pure Reason in German last summer. Didn't understand most of it but hey, at least I tried right?

Pretty sure it is one of them actually, Ben. But which one - that's the issue ;)

Not Weber, Yella. Sure it'll come to me. Was really the ideas that impressed me - most of philosophy is a bit of a blur to me really. All so much toss and twaddle for the most part. Angels on the head of a pin bollocks. Will ponder whose ideas it was that impressed...
