I loved Roxy Music, but was never so keen on Ferry's solo stuff, he's a great singer, sexy enigmatic man, but didn't continue what Roxy Music built...

My dad had Stranded, I listened to it when I was about 12, so 9 years after it came out...

I went down the record shop , and came back with.....

anyone who knows Roxy usic will know exactly which album a 12 year old boy would buy....

I just wrote an essay on Autechre 8(

I shall listen to them out of goodwill...Never been that into them, but I suspect that's because I don't agree with the only album I own by them (tri repeatae++).
 
An essay? What did you say?

Autechre are great. I saw/heard them live at the Venue in Edinburgh in the early naughties. Top class.
 
I really like this tune. Typical. I bet I really dig them, after all this time.

It was an essay on glitch music and sociology...Kinda laboured, took all the fun out of the genre. But I cited Autechre, so they get a thumbs up (a heart up) <3
 
I've just had it in my music library for about 7 years, but never found the time to get into it, or always skipped tracks when they're on shuffle.

Do they have a more accessible album that could get me in the mood for Tri-Repeatae?

its worth some effort...there are some euphoric melodies on that album that make it a classic.

Hmm, I find Tri Repetae is accessible ;) But Incunabula might be even more comfortable.
