I would like to see peoples heroin art. I have made a portrait painted with heroin and blood, the brush strokes not so much brush strokes but needle strokes. Anyone wanna guage what that would be worth to me, or as an auction item on ebay? Is it worth selling, or should it stay with me until the day I die?
Currently I am battling with PAWS and the odd chippy relapse, but nothing serious like many are going through. I am still an addict though, and it will take a while for me to step down from the throne and leave the holy grail behind. But it seems to me that any sort of relief such as art and music is much more worth than the rush we seek, as long as we can gather the strength to produce it. What we leave behind in this amazing world, the world we as junkies have chosen to condemn in many ways, is but a corpse for the vultures for those so lucky to be within their reach, blood clotted with fillers and diluted smack and an ill-nourished mind and body (of course we make an impact in many cases but more often than not we glide by unseen, comfortably numb in our own world). If we can leave behind something more, what will it be? Art, music, influence? Post the canvases that you reach out through.
