I'm interested in what are the cannabis seeds legality in fallowing countries: Morocco, Turkey, Iran, Lebanon, Tunisia, Egypt, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Pakistan. If you know in fact than please answer, but if you think or have heard, than this doesn't mean much. I need to know for sure as if I walk over a boarder with a few kilos of cannabis seeds (washed pure from any left products of course), but if it's still illegal than some of those countries don't joke a round. I'm also interested in seeds legibility in Asia: China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Thai.

But the most priority countries for me are Turkey and Morocco atm.

Big thanks for those who know and can answer. If you don't want to answer on this thread, you can pm me also. If you post some site, I presume it's based and is referred by government info or is based some other hard facts.

Some background info is also welcome: hows the scene today, what different strains grow in that particular country. What are the locals attitude toward cannabis, etc.

All help is much appreciated.

Yahoo seems to think they're illegal in the USA.. but that's not really a reliable source..

They are legal in the UK :/

They are actually illegal in the USA, but that doesn't help this guy at all.

Your best bet is probably to either look up each countries anti drug laws or email a lawyer who lives in each country.

Morocco is hard as all fuck on drugs as of late. Their stance is that there are no "soft drugs." As such, I would assume (but not know as a fact) that it would be unwise to put yourself at risk of being caught in possession of cannabis seeds by Moroccan law enforcement. I'm having trouble finding a legit source of information on Moroccan drug laws but I'll keep working on it.

On the subject of Turkey, here's what the United States Embassy has to say on the matter:

Penalties for violating Turkish laws, even unknowingly, can be severe. Penalties for possession, use, or trafficking in illegal drugs in Turkey are particularly strict, and convicted offenders should expect jail sentences with heavy fines.

The general consensus on the internet is that possession, cultivation, trafficking, use, and sale of marijuana is illegal in Turkey. As such, I'm again going to assume that cannabis seeds fall under the umbrella term "cannabis." I'm also having trouble finding a legitimate or verifiable source explicitly stating Turkey's marijuana laws, though, so I'll keep it in my search as well.

As for the rest of your list, I have a feeling definitive answers are going to prove just as elusive as they have for Morocco and Turkey. I think there's a reason we don't have an Asian or African sub-forum here on Bluelight. :\ I'm with hx_ on this one:

Your best bet is probably to [...] email a lawyer who lives in each country.

Wow.. coulda sworn he asked for USA, too :/

Lol, nah, but just to clarify cannabis seeds are illegal in the US. In some states they might be legal or decriminalized but from a legislative point of view they're illegal according to our constitutional Supremacy Clause.

Look, when it comes to threads dealing with legality it is up to the mods of CD to determine if they should be left open. Honestly, if you value your freedom then I highly recommend you di NOT try to take cannabis seeds into any of the countries you are asking about. Honestly if anyone here gives you any kind of wrong info about these countries and then you try to smuggle seeds into the country.....I dont want to end up seeing you on Locked-up Abroad.

So I am closing this thread. Please do your own research outside of bluelight.
