I thought threads were closed if a member broke the rules...so why the FUCK have two of my threads have been closed?

If you're going to have rules here, it might be nice if all of the moderators read them.
 
Reading the last post in a closed thread usually provides explanation :), and a closed thread doesn't necessarily reflect on anything done by the OP.
 
why should anybody listen to you if you can't follow the simplest of instructions and post civilly?

If you are still unsatisfied, just laugh and remind yourself that Bluelight is only a message board.

Civilly? What? Most of my posts are tongue-in-cheek...define "civil."

I've PM'd mods in the past about closed threads, and it didn't help one bit. :p
 
Sorry, that was probably me. When I'm on my phone on BL, I get no notification of PMs and then when I log in on the desktop version at home, there are notifications.

I'll try to get back to you today or tomorrow, but the foreskin thread I can tell you was creating a lot of reports. Personally, I don't care, but I'm only one mod.

in that case, you can escalate your complaint to senior moderators and on to admins. what happened when you did that?

Obviously, I was annoyed...and was expressing it.

Actually, I PM'd you about a similar matter late last year. As I recall, you told me you "don't handle that" and referred me to other moderators.
 
the best form of defense is offense? classy.

what i actually said was: "I'm on vacation and can't investigate this. also, I don't oversee the lounge. please contact one of the lounge smods for help: cheerio and/or animal_cookie." which is entirely consistent with what i am telling you now.

there's a saying that "you catch more bees with honey than with vinegar". it's true and some people asking for help from a group of volunteers should keep in in mind...

I have not received a PM.

I think it is safe to say IIlyria' isn't willing or able to be civil or mature about this.

I am pretty sure I was pretty direct, honest, and civil.

I've come to realise that none of this is that important in the scheme of things...therefore, I shall now attempt to have fun and ignore those who have an inflated sense of their own importance. ;)

Hallelujah! Bluelight has shown me the way. I am just a humble girl...certainly not worthy enough to be here. But through some great miracle, I am here!
