Sleep I can sympathise with, it sucks man, just lying there, nothing, scared to move unless you wake her a-fucking-gain, and it's fuckintg torture and it must stop. Fucking hell for hours going out of yopur fuckintg mind wanting to move but it must happen soon but it goes on and on and on and never ends. I aint touched a stim for ages wtf is going on?

KLong story yes I have been there. That is shit for you. I fucking hate that, I don't know how to cure it myself, except more drugs (bad idea) I'm sorry. <3

Yeah I might just go ahead and do it, considering I've only had positive responses so far, but I was hoping to hear from people with more opi experience than me. I mean, maybe the differences in withdrawal between the different opis are significant enough to mean they can't be treated in the same way. I doubt it, other than severity, but maybe. I think it's a great idea, although maybe it could be more of a opiates and benzos withdrawals support thread rather than just opiates, as a lot of the time benzos are used to help with opiate withdrawal and can become another problem, also, both are horrible and a support thread for the withdrawal of them could have separate threads, but a combined one sounds good to me.


In other news I finally found out what DTs means today, I've seen it floating around bluelight over the last 9 years and it has always been where I would have written WDs but it turns out that DTs are Delirium tremens I really hope that I don't get too much of that when I go into the centre and go on that stupid fast Librium taper they are going on about, sure I will though.

Is there a Pagey & Mugz dinner date thread in SLR? There should be, we could add a poll as to which restaurant Mugz should pay for dinner at, somewhere there is no horse meat on the menu! I think Mugz would appreciate?

Well, you're right that benzo withdrawal is horrible too. My initial feeling is that a combined thread could lead to a bit of confusion, many people will not have both problems simultaneously and wading through benzo posts to get to opioid posts or vice versa may make it more difficult to find the relevant information. However if we do one we should definitely do the other.

But if enough people think a combined thread is a good idea, then I'm happy to be persuaded.

I think you have to be drinking a fuckload for a long time to get the DTs. Just how much have you been drinking?

lets create two then, or get a public opinion, in the form of a poll maybe, (although I have a feeling when these recovery forums pop up a lot of information will be there, but understand we like to have our own copies here in EADD too, as we do with everything else.)

You can get DTs from benzo withdrawal without drinking too, I have been drinking a lot of cider recently though.

Unfortunately I think we're trying to keep SLR more serious than that (well, just forget the foreskin thread) but you made me chuckle ;)

Yepp I think maybe it would be better to create two seperate WD threads in that case? As you said knock, it would probably get quite confusing.

I wanted a high quality music track, instead of streaming it from youtube. Within literally 1 minute, I'd found it on a Torrent, and downloaded it. Whether you believe in music 'sharing', or think we are robbing artists blind, is another matter. My point, is that I find it utterly amazing to live in such a world where information and data is so easily, and so rapidly available. Don't we normally just take it for granted? Incredible.
