Yeah I like that as well, have done since it moved over to the BBC when it did. The year Jenson Button became good all of a sudden. Me and the missus really got into it helped very much indeed by the fact that a Brit was winning, We would go nuts when he won and loved his team radio thing he did at the end, it was obvious he was overjoyed, was very nice thing to hear. That German fella who is a great driver was crap at that in comparison it was like there was little or no real emotion coming from his tone at all. Is it an accent thing? I don't know but he sounded like what he really was saying was 'job done' but tried to make it sound like he was excited. Couldn't watch it with adverts on when they come on I have the urge to get up and fuck off, then I don't come back in fear of another one happening.

Maybe it's sad I don't care, I'm hooked now even though it hasn't had the same excitement that first season we saw together happened. Maybe it will return when Lewis starts winning? He just might you know. He is a crazy driver, he would drive straight into a lamppost at full speed instead of ever let off the gas. That bloke is an ideal candidate for burning in a fireball. Hope that doesn't happen but he is a 'all or nothing' type, which has been part of his undoing at times.

I went to the Formula 1 a few years ago - great fun! It so much different seeing it as opposed to watching it on tv as you really have no idea on how loud it is. Even with earbuds in the noise was crazy and you could feel the engines in your chest etc. May go again this year if I can blag some tickets :)

Male circumcision, when properly carried out, reduces the likelihood of prostate cancer and a whole host of infections. Crucially, it leaves the penis entirely intact and functional. In many cases the operation is performed to overcome health complications rather than in any religious context.

This is propoganda. No medical organisation in the world recommends routine circumsision. Any proposed health benefits are as yet unproven (aside from certain specific circumstances). Intact foreskins are known to prevent certain infections and have medical benefits besides being rather fun to play with. Even if you accept the supposed medical benefits of circumsision the argument works both ways so amounts to not much of anything.

That aside, I actually mostly agree with the rest of what you said. I have no issue with men doing whatever they wish to with their todgers. It's their todger after all. What I object to is routine circumsision of young boys who don't - and can't - have a say in the matter. Once you're all grown up you can chop off any parts of your anatomy you wish. The argument is essentially the same for women - it's the fact that it's not their decision that's the big problem. If adult women wished to lop off bits of their fanny then bully for them. Having it inflicted on them when they cannot defend themselves and don't get a choice is the issue in both cases.

And I also agree that "female circumsision" is a bullshit term. I prefer "genital mutilation" in both cases. Nobody has a right to remove part of another person's anatomy without that person's consent. It's as simple as that for me really.

Seriously, come the join the thread in SLR =D
It's very passionate in there. It's funny how deeply some people appear to care about their foreskin.

Hehe. Have done many times. I need to be in rabble-rousing mood though cos it gets heated and I'm in rather mellow mood this fine eve ;)

And if you had a foreskin I can assure you you would care about it too. Sensitive lil things are foreskins. And who wants a leathery bellend? 8(

I'd fucking care about my foreskin if you'd chopped it off without my consent! :D

I saw somewhere in a similar discussion one guy say proudly his son no longer looked like he had some chewed up chewing gum stuck on the end of his willy. That really stuck in my mind as such a fucked up attitude towards the human body.

I went out with a guy who had it done for medical reasons when he was about 7, but it was a doctor error, he sounded really bitter about it to this day. It took ages for him to come, he also resented the loss of sensation.

Which I mentioned in my post.

All I've actually objected to is your (somewhat bizarre) assertion that male and female 'circumcision' are morally equivalent because of the coercion involved in the majority of cases. I think that's a hugely simplistic and flawed argument, given that the female equivalent is outright mutilation based on misogynistic, paternalistic attitudes. That's not to say male circumcision is 'right', just that it's entirely different.

As for the ongoing debate about health benefits, I'll remind you that no medical organisation has any health-based objection to it either.

Honestly, I'd have it done again purely on aesthetic grounds. That's just me.

ah, but you know the people who perform them don't get paid. It's such an emotive issue. They get to keep the tips. It just goes to show that religion is a funny thing to. it's a strange old thing alright.

Females lopping of f bits of their fannies. Some women pay for that. If that's not a woman who has some sort of mental issues i don't know what is. Quite probably the same sort of women who do this look at pics of stretahy ear lobes and long necks and think that they're terrible things. Need to get the dog out before dark. toodle pip peeps :D

Therein we differ then :)

As I said, I find what's done to young girls far more repellant but I honestly don't see how cutting off male flesh without the owner's consent is any better than cutting off female flesh without the owner's consent. Simplistic argument indeed cos it really is that simple. The reasons folk (well, men) come up with to defend either practice are irrelevant to the basic fact of the matter that it ain't their flesh to but cutting.

so it was just paranoia, had convinced myself of that until your post, then you got me all a bit para again. it was definitely paranoia :sus:

Nah mate - we know nothing. Your just being Paranoid - (have you rolled whilst wearing a hat recently?)

I'll get Folley to explain the dangers in a bit ...

Bearlove that's sweet mate. F1 fans on here do exist I had no idea. <3 I have heard the same from other people that said that before I got into the sport. When I heard you can feel the sound reverberate through your bodies and they'd go all doey eyed over it I never got it. To me that said it will be really loud and annoying all the time and you'll want to leave all the time and would prey for it to end so you could go home and have a nice brew.

Then I got into and there was the big announcement that the British Grand Prix was moving to Donnington park which is nearer to me than Silverstone. On TV you only get the high pitched whine (unless it's my TV speakers are shit, possibility) and the 'waaaaaaaaaa' as the shoot past the screen left to right or whatever. It lacked that low end rumble you here from big stupid engines that go 'brrbrbrbrbrbrbrbr' you know and was told I would experience that like no other if I went. Anyway didn't Donington park really fly the flag for British Supremacy eh? Fucking hells bells. There was some geeza nearing the time they needed to finish the track to have it inspected on the telly and this guy was the head of the project, he looking a fucking mess, his hair was all over the place and his shirt was hanging out you could see a bit of flesh yeah? You may have seen it, behind him the stood the track, I know because the Dunlop bridge was behind him surrounding him was rubble everywhere. He fucking stood there and said 'it will be finished on time, we are not handing this back to Silverstone' to be honest Bearlove I was a tiny bit skeptical but wanted to believe it was going to happen. Well you know how that one ended. I wasn't best pleased. However I got over it. Which was nice.

So if I may ask how much are the tickets etc. they are a bit expensive I remember right, £150 quid or there abouts, not sure if that includes the practice and quali or if it was separate. I would be willinng to pay that for the race at the time because I would happily pay for Glasto tickets and they cost a mother fucking fortune as you are well aware. Probably make it a treat or intended one off thing and do it.

I read somewhere you are or were a chef yeah? ha ha mate sorry, but unlucky. Unless you have a sweet kitchen and call the shots and love it etc. Hope you do<3
