Hydrocodone potentiation

Hi all. Ive decided to take some benadryl with my hydrocodone in an attempt to potentiate the effects. How much benadryl should i take and when should i take it? Before? After? With the hydro?

If you dont often take diphenhydramine, it shouldnt take much....maybe try one 25mg pill....you dont wanna overdo it either, because it will just make you tired....

I would say 25mg to 50mg taken with your hydrocodone, no more. It'll likely stop the itches if you're prone to getting them. Taking over 50mg will probably ruin your opiate high and cause dysphoria.

However, the most common complaint I see with diphenhydramine is RLS (restless leg syndrome). It may cause RLS in people who are prone to it, or possibly worsen the side effect.

But you more than likely won't have that problem.

Thanks guys. I have 25 mg diphenhydramine pills. Should I take them a while before I take the norcos or with them?

He just means....Ideally, it's better to have the "pure opiate" feeling on it's own....I only ever used benadry regularly when I was coming off of methadone and my dose was getting lower....it does work as a potentiator, just don't expect any miracles!

I'd use a 25mg pill, take it at the same time as the opiate

What do you mean dirty?

By dirties he means makes dysphoric, or takes away from the euphoria. Something which IMO is true.
