I was psychometrically tested at work recently - anyone else had that?

I've been tested for allsorts had a full on recorded interview thing and assessment once ( for work)....apparently I was very authentic ...what ever that means. Also did a full psychometric and 360 feedback thing, can't say I saw much value in it.

It's been shitty at work of late I've had to fail someone's probation, never done that before. I had no choice and had tried to get them back on track but to no avail, it had to be done though or I'd have been stuck with a liability.

I see you are of the stopping not parking faction, seems many more women have a problem with parking than men, maybe arrogance plays a part, Mrs23 refuses to park the Tank Rover and never parallel parks.....parking isn't really driving though, tis just the bit you do after driving so it doesn't really count.

The new EADD mods are doing a great job from what I've seen, and the report from admin only raised a few minor issues

The testing thing felt odd - they're not satisfied with your qualifications, job experience, credentials or track record, they want to get right into your psychology ...maybe I'm cynical but it kinda spooked me. Dodgy as fuck if you ask me... blah

That's a crap situation for you to be in with someone else who most likely needed the money from the job

You remind me of me mam a bit there; she drives an old beat up '02 Focus and constantly prangs it into stuff. Dad drove, at the time, a rather snazzy custom-built BMW 7 Series. Took him a while to let Mum drive it but the second he did she basically smacked it into my car and then, despite parking sensors telling her exactly what to do, wedged half of it onto the kerb and the other half into the back right light of some other cunt's car.

So yeah basically none of us let her near our cars now.

I've had psychometric tests Kate but they are usually used in interviews to see if the interviewee would be the kind of person who'd fit in with the rest of an office. Or if they are the kind of person the management think the office needs.

Are they testing other colleagues? If so it might be to get some statistics that might reflect your offices needs

I "fitted" well into my expected role / job though it showed up all my bad behaviour too :D like my risk taking and rule breaking haha...bit embarrassing about that mind Pretty much indicated I'm a drugs n' booze type cause I get bored...cunts are going to work me harder! Save £ on occupational psychotherapy

I've found etizolam a bit dark and not soft enough for me like a benzo. It's square and harsh around the edges

I'd watch it even at 3 on 3 off It's mood destabilising, well I find that, generates anxiety that can lead to all sorts wierd paranoia thinking...that's totally unnecessary and a bit of a waste of time. It's just the Etiz

Insomnia and me have been friends for a long time, really don't mind spending that time in a night like this, its manageable on a Sat too. Though the man's snoring is a bit annoying :D

Still, I'd like something fattening to eat...and a cup of tea.

Edit: Well done on the 5 days off, keep going, sure it must be hard just now and a bit fuckery, but bloody hell gal, go for it and get rid. It's a cheap RC and not worth the hassle really...is it? More pain than gain.

Benzos (or booze) for insomnia is a road to further ruin IME, I agree with kate in the end it's better to just live with the lack of sleep, get up and do something even if it's just watching the TV. I survived on 3-5 hours of broken sleep a night for more than 18 months that way it is was OK, better than lying there fretting anyway.

My sleep is much improved after I stopped ADs but ironically I've been suffering with fatigue during the day, pain meds don't help.

My doctor would give me Z drugs if I wanted them but his advice is to just ride it out in the most positive way I can find, years of Booze and Benzos are bound to leave there mark but I'm such a clean living boy these days:D

I'm ok with the druggy label now, its only a lil bit of me. Age brings good things like acceptance as well as memory loss and an interest in beige clothing :D
