astral projected to the moon and smoked ice
The foregoing disagreement between SS and Foreigner over the defining features of a genuine 'astral projection' (in less fancy English, literally a 'star jut' - lol) reminds me of that aphorism re. the dark room and the black cat.

Thanks for yet another wonderfully sneering contribution to your own subforum.

Once again you have nothing of use to add to the dialogue. What a great mod you are.

Nothing of use to whom? To you? I, for one, get a great kick out of people vigorously debating the essential characteristics of empirical phenomena that, by their (apparently controversial!) definition, can never be efficiently, reproducibly studied. In my opinion (as any old Bluelighter, and as a moderator) it's an exercise in futility, and it begins to look like needless clutter when the tenor of the dialogue reaches that of Foreigner's posts above, as ebola has already suggested.

you're acting out because this topic is beyond your epistemology of comprehension
What is your fault though is being a mod of the "spirituality and philosophy" subforum who feels it's appropriate to degrade the beliefs of others because they do not live up to your scientific model of understanding the world.
I've wondered if anyone here has personal experience with astral projection?
Not if you believe in it or not; but if you have direct experience with it..
Ive been trying it for the last few days and managed to finally do it for a few seconds i left my body and saw my body laying down in my bed;
I freaked out then went back into my body...
It is bizarre to say the least... and 100% real
Thoughts, tips, experiences?
It takes alot of patience; it is very difficult to achieve the state to project; it is a state in between waking and being asleep
I've managed it several times with intent, but each time I have used hemisync to assist. I've used William Buhlman's chakra meditation hemisync but also made my on using a light/sound 'mind machine and software.Foreigner and SS do you have any tips to quiet the mind down yet remaining awareness?
