Taking opiates after Adderall? (tramadol and oxycodone)

Alright so some basic info about me tolerance wise is; I take Tramadol almost every day, realistically every other day at about 150-250mgs throughout a time span. When staggering doses, about 200-400mg gives me a nice, slight, kinda speedy buzz probably comparable to 20mg hydro for me.. The other opiate is Oxycodone and that I take less frequently than the tram, id say about 3-4 a week, been going on in that pattern for about several months. Oxy by itself i get a good buzz, euphoria, kinda speedy but if i stay still n chill I can almost nod, never gotten sick. Its almost like if I took 2 hydros ontop of the 200-400mg Tram range i was talkin about... So as you can see I do have a tolerance, maybe in between small and moderate (2 30's ill straight nod off probly)

Now to hopefully quickly tie into my question, I take Adderall everyday (prescribed) at 40mg a day but sometimes ill take 60-80 to speed a bit, like today..I dosed around 12:30 at once and as of now I can tell im coming down bit faster than gradually n doing my routine of gettin most of the Amph out of my system. By drinking cranberry juice (Vit C+ diuretic) soda, anything acidic or with Vit C n make sure Im peeing alot so at around 7 or 8 i will have basically crashed n not feeling energetic or motivated anymore etc.. Iv heard to be careful when taking tramadol after taking adderall (serotonin problems i think).
Im planning on taking the tramadol here after a while, staggering to build up a high then top it off with a 30mg Oxy, will this be fine? Or should i dose the tram after the Oxy? Iv heard conflicting reports that tramadol may buildup a tolerance to other opiates? Like people cant feel oxy or others when on Tramadol?

Tramadol with/after amphetamine = major interaction, quite unsafe.

Oxycodone with/after amphetamine = quite safe.

I think you should just stick with Oxycodone and avoid the tramadol. While Adderall mainly acts on dopamine, I do believe there is some SERT activity and I personally am terrified of the thought of serotonin syndrome and would avoid any possibility of it as much as I can.

With the oxycodone there will be no interactions. It'll definitely help soften the comedown.

So although I have taken tramadol in the same day as Adderall and was fine, the potentiation of the Oxycodone or vice versa, isnt worth the potential risk ?

Niether Tramadol nor Adderall have enough serotonergic activity to warrant serotonin syndrome. I take Vyvanse, Tramadol, and Zoloft on a daily basis and have had no issues. You shouldn't have any issues with taking the tramadol after taking amphetamine. Serotonin syndrome is very rare, and typically occurrs when multiple SSRI/SNRI antidepressants are taken concomitantly for an extended period of time. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

So with that being said, IF I WERE to dose the tramadol anyways is there any kind of potentiation of any kind with oxy & tram ? taking one before the other, after amt of time? Or just nah..

No, there's no trick to taking one before the other or whatever. If anything I'd take them together so the dose hits all at once. It's the sudden change in blood concentrations that provide stronger come-ups. Although, some people like to gradually step into the water, whereas I prefer to get hit by a train lol.

Truth, same here lol But the thing with tramadol is that to get any recreational buzz from it (my experience) is to stagger the doses n not take them all together.. Hmm probably should just eat the Oxy n be done with it.

I don't take tramadol to get a buzz lol. I take it for pain, and it does fuck all, haha. I might as well be drinking water for my pain, although what do you expect when 60mg of hydrocodone doesn't do anything to you but make you itch, haha.

Lol I feel ya. Iv come alooong way (yellow brick road to OZ long) in terms of my tolerance to opiates as it stands today. Couple of years ago when my H dealer got locked up, whole area was dry with 'pharms and all I had access too was Hydrocodone.. My liver use to cuss me out daily from poppin 10 norcos a day (sucked horribly at CWE lol) just to elevate my mood..
