25i-NBOMe, first time, dosing.

After lurking in the 'Big and Dandy' thread and not receiving much of a clear answer I decided to make my own thread.
I have 900ug tabs of 25i-NBOMe. An hour and a half ago I consumed half a tab, holding it under my tongue for 20 minutes or around there. Then 30 minutes later consumed the other half. Its now 3:05 (First dose at 1:14) and I feel something, but not much OEV or CEV. Is the onset a little longer? If so I'll just wait, but I'm debating on taking another half tab. For a total of 1350ug.
 
Not sure what to say ANON 610, I won't advocate you going for another half, few on here will. THe Tolerance has already effected things minorly, a half a tab may not do too much. Best advice it take it for what it is, enjoy it, examine it, then give yourself oh 2 weeks and come back for more.

you did the right thing not taking it all at once. SLightly risky jumping in foranother half but it sounds like it won't hurt you.

Question how bitter was the taste, and how numbing was it, did the numbness dissipate by say the 15 to 20 minute mark?



Next time you could try brushing your teeth and gums just a bit, and place the tab on the gums first.... this tends to increase the effects of a tab or so I have read

That would be way too much, you should be able to tell this from the Big & Dandy thread. :\
For most people the onset isn't much longer than this, that is right, but you would be unwise to just push the dose. You would risk an overdose which can be very unpleasant and also pretty dangerous. People have died from this you know.

Shame if you end up disappointed but there is always a next time. Act responsibly and increase your dose only in increments. It is textbook irresponsibility to take something for the first time, be dissatisfied and keep taking more, until it is too late and you are very freaking sorry.

I disagree with the poster above me. He/she is making the same assumption that it "probably won't hurt you" even though plenty of people find 500 ug to be pretty intense.

The whole point is that it should not be worth the impatience to risk your health, I can't understand how anyone would argue that. Arguments that you or other people were fine doing such and so, that says very little. It will go well until it goes wrong. Why gamble with your life?

And I'm sorry if you didn't get the responses you were expecting but apparently there was nobody to answer properly or perhaps there is a part of the job you just have to do yourself regarding research and homework.

PD is already drowning in the 25X threads everyone is making - about preparing it and taking it - and this thread will get merged soon like any other.
 
Sublingual administration doesn't work as well as buccal. Try placing it between your gum and cheek next time.
 
Good advice, be sure to adjust the dose - you don't want to be caught off guard with a dose you took before that works in a much more potent way.

Yeah it sorta did but my mouth is still numb. I ended up taking almost ~1.7 tabs in slow increments. Only in good judgement. I did this because I felt comfortable. I don't advise doing so. But my body seems to react well with it.
I love the feeling though.

Curious why vendors put them in 900ug to 1mg blotters. If the recommend 'heavy' dose is 1500ug.
Anyway, will post back.

yeah... it is a potent something that is for sure. 1.7 is bold for a first time.


it made me feel great... like amazing all 3 times I did it, even on just 500 ug I felt pretty good.


I would say next time you dose (give yourself at least 2 weeks) just start with 1 tab all at once. If you brush your gums and then place the tab on your gums it will probably hit you quicker, more effectivly and give you a grasp of just how potent 900 ug really is.

Yeah, I definitely know what you mean. In total today (6 hours in) I consumed 2 hits containing 900ug of 25I-nbome HCl. So far I enjoy it, but I defintely see how sudden it goes from nothing to something. Especially with Cannabis. And to think I was gonna consume an eighth of shrooms blindly going into this would've been dumb. This substance is great, but definitely extremely potent. I've only tried one RC before this and it was an unknown DOx substance that didn't do anything. So I had doubt after 2 hours and 1 hit and a half not doing shit to me. But 6 hours in, and its only getting more intense. Shit is weird...to say the least.
 
yeah you staggered a very strong dose, probably the only thing that is keeping you grounded right now. You should be on your way down soon though, in general what you are looking at is say 8 hours..... maybe a bit more due to the staggered nature of your dose.


I would say in 2 weeks time, you could probably get a safer shorter but equally pleasurable trip from one hit taken all at once. THing is the tolerance to this builds up fast, so please realize taking that much in one shot would do you in more so then you are right now.. it sounds like you are doing just fine, but respect of this one chemical is a key component of enjoying it. I am guessing you have a better grasp on that now then say 3 days ago... It does send some pretty euphoric mind and body signals. You must have felt like Superman at one point on that kind of dose. LOL...


it is very close to oh I would say 3 parts good LSD 2 parts good MDMA in it's peak.
