yerr indeed I have half a dozen and a cockrel to boot. Easter soon. Might be problematic.

they really don't like the snow though, won't even come out of their house to eat the food in the mornings.

Almost certainly the case.

I do know chooks like to roost in trees when it's snowy. But they do that anyway really. Chooks I'm thinking of don't live in a chookhouse and haven't had their wings clipped. Is a place near hear that has 'em like that. I honestly never knew chickens could fly til I saw 'em do it. Well, I say fly, is not quite as graceful as the word suggests frankly. But better than I could do.
 
mine do like to perch in the branches of a very old elderflower tree. obviously when creating a lie about chickens, you want to embellish it as creatively as possible.

These ones definitely made it up more than two feet... but not very much more. Must've been a good 4-5 foot though. Really was quite impressive at the time. And kinda funny too :D

Evening EADD, I didn't wake up till 7pm today, had a bit of a late one then knocked myself out to sleep. I was woken up to dinners ready in half hour, so had half hour to have a shower get dressed and wake up a bit before Cornish pasty, chips and beans, went down surprisingly well.

Only been up 3 and a half hours and feel like having a nap already!!

Also, do folk only sign there posts when uberfukked and/or taking the piss? Have noticed this seeming to be the case but never mentioned it. Game changer on the Alisdair front if either possibility is true.
