Oh, what to do, what to do. I think Recycled Ex 2 might be on the horizon. I dated him my second half of college (was with him when I joined BL!) and we split up over some dumb shit. He e-mailed me a few weeks ago, we've been keeping up. Both of us are single and think we would be very happy together again. The problem is, he just got a huge promotion and he is 3300 miles away. I might spend a late spring break there so we can feel this out... I have to figure it out.

It can't hurt. Worst that happens is you have fun somewhere other than by your house. ;) you're single, got vacation time, and don't have to be responsible so go have fun.

^He lives in the same city as you, Lysis, so we might finally get to meet up for Thai in Wilton Manors after all :)

Recycled ex 1 is NOT going to be happy, but he really hasn't got a say. I am indeed single. RE2 and I always had soooo much fun for the 18 months we were together. I wouldn't even know where to start other than that he is down for whatever, whenever... not whiny and uptight when he doesn't get his way like RE1 is. I think I need that.

Jesus my parents are driving me crazy. Nothing like a few days back at home to make me remember why I escaped to another country in the first place. Blah.

Ahh that sucks. I love my family but I hate visiting them for more than a day. They drive me crazy :p. Always stressful.

its also being in your house with them that triggers the annoying scenario's

if they came to see you you would probably get on easier with them. its the whole "i feel like a child" and reverting back in time

I got a phone number today!

This cute chick steps on the bus with a 1980s style skateboard and sat across from me. There was a shitload of ppl on the bus at that time so I didn't get a chance to talk to her then. She got off at the same stop so I started talking to her. Started off just talking about the skateboard. Then I found out she lives in the same part of dallas as me so we started talking more. Then we hopped on the train and sat by each other and listened to music and I showed her some of my art.

We kept talking and finally I got her number. I texted her so shed have mine. As I was leaving I said "nice meeting you" and she said "ill text you" and she did like 10 minutes later.

She seems really Tom-boyish so we will probably just be friends and I could probably get put in the friend zone quite easily. That is ok though for right now. She was still really cool and will be a nice addition to my circle of friends.

YEAAAAAAAAH BOI!^

Don't we know it - aiii it's really hateful until you can work out how to change it...which sucks - you're the younger one and ultimately you have to take the lead.

Oh yay! Definitely give me a call!

My recycled ex (I love that term, btw and must borrow it lol) didn't have a choice either, which is why he dumped me on Facebook and G+. I'll have to tell that story one of these days. It's pretty funny. It's the first time I've laughed during a breakup.

awww, that's so awesome SS.

My sis and I both were tomboys, and now we're the girliest girls, so who knows what will happen. You're not in the friendzone yet, so don't put yourself there with the negativity. :p

^Hah that's the good thing about being in university - if you nod off during classes people will just assume you got home too late from a club last night \ o/

Haha, yeah I've been there. I don't know how I made it through college... and with a good GPA too, hah. But somehow I did. Now though, nodding off at work comes with a nice "You're fucking fired" attached to it. :)

Impressive! Yeah, I don't really want it to end...still got at least 2 years to enjoy the non-suspicious nodding though. How are you otherwise?

Leaving in 30 mins to pick up waao for debauchery.

I'm freakin starving and there is a mojito with my name on it waiting for me at the beach. I was surprised to find out that mojitos are primarily a Miami thing.

Ooh Lysis! Have fun with Waao, tell him I say hi. And tell me how it goes =D (yeah I'm being nosy)

I'm good. Things are going good with the girlfriend so that's a weight off my back, hah. How about you? How's life across the pond?

I'm really happy to hear that about your girlfriend, that's awesome. Drugs don't always have to be the homewrecker ;) myeah it's good, recently got accepted for study abroad in Sydney next year, which is exciting, and someone at a big pusblishing company wants to see a manuscript of my novel, which is even more exciting.
Also the swelling on my wrist has gone down a lot today so I'm thinking I might not need to go to the ER after all :)

Good to hear on the swelling. IV'ing is a bitch sometimes, eh? Ha. And I didn't know you were a writer! I am too in my spare time. I'm working on finishing a new novel right now that I'm hoping to get published. I've published a few short stories before but never a novel. I have a couple full books written but they were basically practice ones that I wouldn't want published. This new one though is actually good, hah.
