Opioids Opiate/Food metabolism connection?

Hey guys, wasn't very sure where to put this because it obviously deals with opiates but also body chemistry, move it if needed. Okay so i know fatty foods most likely help absorption of oral morphine (etc?) but does it make a difference to IV opiates? Which brings me to my main question, Call me stupid but I'm not exactly sure how metabolism of drugs work compared to food and other chemicals. So say you eat a burger and fries, 10 minutes before a shot of an opiate/opioid or vice versa eating before or after would it slow down or speed up the metabolism of the drug? I know obviously if you haven't eaten all day your metabolism is going to be slower, but does that mean when you eat, the drug is going to metabolize faster while your metabolism is working hard? Or could it even slow down metabolism of the drug since its already working on metabolizing something else? Also if it does make an impact would injecting on an empty stomach either slow down the metabolism of the opiate or speed it up since there's noting else metabolizing. I know this sounds like a silly and a bit technical question but I've been putting a lot of thought into it, I'm trying to figure the best way to slow down the metabolism of opiates, Hopefully someone can answer this.

Kay so I've got absolutely no idea how it works, but you'll feel opiates effects much more if you're taking them, no matter the ROA, on an empty stomach. Regarding the fatty food thing - it's more that if you eat, say, 6 hours before you plan on taking the drug, you'll absorb it better if your foods were high in fat. But eating 10mn before is a bit of a waste of the drug really.

What about after? And I'm talking about injection too, i always get the damn opiate munchies and dont want food to get in the way of all the opiates flowin through my body haha

As far as I know, that won't have much of an effect...but the thought of eating on opiates usually makes me nauseous so take my opinion on this with a grain of salt!

Very true, but your body still metabolizes the drug. So the stomach producing acids, and all the enzyme shit (that i really do not understand) may effect the rate and amount the body cleanses it through your system. Correct? What is the path drugs take trough IV? I'm sure some of that process involves the same organs that metabolize drugs. Jesus i used the word metabolize a lot.

In my opinion, eat the burger and fries 20mins AFTER the opiate dose. This stimulates the digestive system and moves the pills down into the absorption zone. At least that's the way it feels. If i take a bunch of kratom extract capsules, they take a long time to kick in compared to full agonist opiates, but if i get a mcdouble before the hour is up, ill start to feel them as i am eating. Perhaps this is just my body but that's what i have noticed.

I'm talking interveinious bro.
but while i have the chance, do you catch a nod off kratom? would you suggest it to an opiate user? I am not addicted i inject dilaudid/morph sometimes h about 6 days of the month 2 day binges about every 10 days give or take.
