how to make fentanyl powder from mylan 100mcg/hr patches.

I have searched the internet high and low, and i still can't find a simple way too do this. If there is a better way to extract other than powder that would be cool too. I have an idea of using rubbing alcohol, but i dont know if that will make it toxic. I thank anyone who can help me figure this out.:)
 
The safest way to use the patches is usually on your skin. What are you planning to do with the extracted fentanyl? (smoke it? inject it? etc) And do you have a high tolerance to opioids? Fentanyl is extremely potent.
 
You are going to have to explain to us what you are planning to do after extraction considering the potency and nature of the compound. We can`t in good conscience let you loose with that information without walking you through whatever you plan on doing afterwards.
 
i plan on taking it sublingual. and yes my tolerance is very high and i dont get an effect out of the patch on my skin. theres a lot more fentanyl in the patch than whats being used.

i want to make some kind of liquid solution.I dont inject or smoke drugs other than pot. i inject pot everyday.

Well just divide the dose cut that thing into sections that and place a unit in mouth/chew it, if your plans are sublingual anyway.. Make sure you do the math right and dose lightly.
 
I've been doing that. Now with my tolerance i have to put the whole thing in my mouth for the effect i want, but i can hardly fit the damn thing in there. I just want to get the full 10,200mcg that are in that patch.
 
If you are just going to take it orally/sublingually/bucally you could let the patch soak in alcohol for an hour or two (a small amount of a high proof alcohol like Everclear should be fine or even a regular strong liquor should get a good chunk of the fentanyl out AFAIK) but DO NOT inject it. Even with oral use it's important to be aware that this will make it way stronger than just sucking/chewing on the patch. The matrix patches are not very effective when you put them in your mouth, the best way to use them is on the skin - if you want to speed up the release you can apply heat. I think it's likely that you are not gettting close to the full amount of fent out of your patch by putting it into your mouth and whatever amount you are getting is being slowly absorbed, so don't assume you have a high tolerance just because you can put a whole patch in your mouth. If you are going to try extracting the fent you will need to have a precise way to dose and please be very careful.

What exactly do you mean? If you are injecting cannabis I strongly recommend you get some harm reduction advice on how to do it properly and as safely as possible (I am assuming you don't just mean you are soaking it in water and filtering?! *not that that would even be effective). EDIT: Ok in retrospect I guess it was a joke, but I have actually heard of people injecting cannabis extracts before so I just assumed they were serious 8(

I've tried using these patches in every way possible but in the end I found that using them transdermally (as intended) was the most effective ROA. Sure it might require an extra patch but it will last soooo much longer than if chewed/injected/eaten/buccal/sublingual or whatever. I say don't waste your time with this. It will just become the crack of opiates and before you know it it's all gone because you had to redose every hour or so and you will end up using more than if you had just used them as intended anyway. You will not save money by doing this, trust me.

Edit: I would still offer you advice on how to do it of course but I have never done it with the polymer matrix patches so I don't know.

It's clear that you aren't getting enough advice to perform the extraction, and then dose safely. Save yourself and just avoid this. Go with an ROA that has worked for you in the past, tweak the dose till you titrate to something that works for you.

It's not harm reduction to get advice on how to get an end product that's near impossible to accurately dose. Especially with fent. Even with high tolerance overdose is never out of the question. DO NOT proceed. Closed. PM any questions.
