^looking good as always :P

Just had a monster omlette, 5 eggs, greek yoghurt, red/green peppers, lots of chillis, mushrooms, spinach, few bits of chicken and then 2 slices of burgen toast. well and truley stuffed.

Man that chicken tikka and pitta 8o

Two spuds in the oven, one for me and one for my dad, beans and cheese will be on the side or on the top most likely, quick meal as I put them in the oven when my dad phoned saying he was stuck in traffic.

Love jacket spuds with cheese n beans (normally add currypowder to the beans though :)

just had mussels and chips, and very good it was too, and messy.

bearlove, great photo, them wings look really good =D

sushi though, I just don't like sushi rice. So it wouldn't work for me.

Mugz, a jacket potato with beans and cheese is a bit shit for a dinner, but it's BY FAR the nicest sounding thing I think you've ever posted in this, or any other munching thread...

Mussels n chips are lovely (no photo?) - like you say really messy though. Haven't had them in ages, and another thing that I'm going to have to cook soon (mind you I like those little clam things). What's up with Sushi rice? Do you not like the texture / taste? I normally add rice vinegar and rice wine to it which gives it a bit of a nicer taste.

I love rice. Just the texture of sushi rice, I've tried all sorts of sushi, all different supermarket ones, once in a reataurant, and once made by an ex-girlfriend who was a pretty good cook. The supermarket ones are bland and rubbish, the restaurant one and the ex-girlfriend one was better, but just doesn't do it for me...I mean, I'll eat it, there's not anything I can think of that I wouldn't eat though (unless it's been made by Mugz, or jancrow)

Sashimi on the other hand, thats a different kettle of fish altogether <3

(I'm positive sushi made by you would be better than any I've tried, but still I wouldn't choose it over anything else I've seen you cook)

Oh, no photo cos we broke our camera about 6 months ago :( Need one so I can start posting photos of fish, allotments and food again.

Got to admit it's not something I make that often - too much of a faff and doesn't really feel like a proper meal. I love Sashimi but not that confident in buying that grade of fish to make at home (do ceviche every now and then but that's 'cooked' kinda).

Thankfully the sticky wings etc really helped bulking the meal up or else I would have been starving after I finished - what kills me every time is the Wasabi, I love it but always forget how strong it is :D

No, I wouldn't make sashimi with bought fish, I only make it the day I catch it. In the summer we sometimes remember to take wasabi and soy sauce on the boat, mackerel and bream are both lovely like this, and the teeny tiny almost still beating mackerel hearts are specially good... <3

Do you live anywhere near the coast Bearlove? I got into fishing cos of my love for food and cooking and decent ingredients, I still don't really "get" people who fish purely for pleasure and return all the fish they catch alive.

Tikka n salad night for me - see previous pictures :)

Going to bake some Camembert later and have that with some toasted onion bread :).
