MDMA - Other People's Eyes

Hey,

I've searched da internets, high and low, but sober, trying to find if this has been asked/answered, sadly no!

So I've rolled a coupled of times, always at festivals, and whilst on molly, on every occasion, everyone else looks like they are also on the stuff, because there pupils are dilated as well. Now, I can't tell if I'm hallucinating or literally everyone at this festival is on MDMA, it just seems odd that I wouldn't see at least one person with regular pupils, both times, during the peak stage of my roll-- usually after about 4-5 pills.

Towards the end of my latest trip, I had a friend come with me who swore he doesn't take the stuff at all, and we're close, and for brief moments his eyes too appeared dilated...

Has anyone every experience this or something similar on a roll? I'd love to know that the 100+ friends I saw there that I though were goody goodies, were actually sober, but I was tripping out the whole time.

In dark places it would be fairly normal for eyes to be dilated...........the darker it is the more the eyes will dilate.

Might also be a hallucination much in the same way that many people using mdma will see others wearing glasses when they arent.
 
I have always been under the perception that brighter lights dilate your eyes way more and faster than a dark area.

Yeah so was I. When you wake up in the morning your pupils are normally small, not large, due to the darkness.

Tbh, i'd say the main reason is because most people are in fact on MDMA at EDM festivals. The combination goes hand in hand similar to alcohol and clubbing.
 
Pupils dilate naturally when there is less light than usual in the area. In the morning sun shining bright, pupils are very tiny. MDMA is psychedelic at higher doses, 4-5 pills is enough to produce hallucinations

hey, both times i started noticing everyone else with the dilated pupils was at night, i wouldn't say dark dark, because there were stage lights and lasers and what not in open spaces.. seems to be after about 3 pills in that i start noticing this happen... during the day i barely see anyone with dilated pupils, assuming it's either still kicking in at those stages or they haven't popped yet.. no one else experienced this lol

Yeah this is what is messing with me, i've never really rolled in an environment where the majority of ppl aren't also taking... have to admit though the not being able to tell the difference between reality and hallucinations in this scenario is pretty cool..
 
As others had said, it's due to the lighting. Your pupils get smaller in bright lights so as to protect your vision and larger in dim lights/no lighting. I was at an after party for a local Valentine's Day rave last night and people were asking me if I was rolling when I hadn't even dropped yet because the house was dark and my pupils were extremely large.

So, strong hallucinations are common when rolling? I had 200mg of what has to be the purest "Molly" I've ever consumed last night and smoked a couple bowls. Throughout the night I kept thinking that I was having a conversation with someone and then I would snap out of it and have no idea what was going on. At one point I realized that I had been talking for a long time and was standing between two guys. When I finished talking, one of the guys goes, "That's...not even what we were talking about. That's a completely different subject" or something. I then proceeded to walk away and sit myself down before I embarrassed myself further. I was tweaking BAD, my eyes were in the back of my head for practically the entire night as I listened to dubstep on somebody's iHome. I wasn't clear on whether it was the weed or the MDMA that was doing it to me. Either way, I looked demonic but felt sooooo good. SO good.

Lol, I've had that before where apparantly I give an answer/start talking about NOTHING related to what I was asked. MD makes your brain melt.

It really does..there were many times that I would conjure a conversation up in my head and when I came to I couldn't tell if I was speaking out loud to no one or if my teeth were just chattering. Never been so high in my life.

In answer to the first question............yes check out Hallucinations, Open Eye visuals and also Closed Eye visuals in The Directory where you will find a huge number of threads on each.

Question two is that it was probably a combination of the two.............Not being a pot smoker I have no first hand knowledge but it is widely reported that grass can help bring on visuals. However yes mdma alone can also do it. Particularly if your in an unusual setting. Only two weeks ago I took a mate for a walk outside while we were on mdma and he had never experienced any hallucinations............he saw a cat quite clearly but then became very confused when he approached it and it turned out to be a bit of rubbish on the ground.

I didn't find any stories that related to mine even in the slightest, but they were certainly fun/interesting to read! I suppose if I were to really step back and evaluate the whole situation, I would say that the weed is what tipped me over the edge. Ever since I started smoking four years ago, I will space out and conjure up conversations with whoever I'm speaking to in my head when I smoke large amounts of marijuana. I believe that I was experiencing this very same thing once I finished smoking about a gram or two in one sitting and the large amount of MDMA (200mg was way too intense, evidently my friends were afraid that I was going to seizure because my eyes would roll to the back of my head and my whole body would violently shake. The next day my limbs were very, very sore despite the fact that I had been sitting and/or standing the entire night) just intensified it immensely. Whatever it was that did it, I wish it hadn't occurred because it left me feeling very self-conscious and insecure about myself and dampened my roll a bit. I was so worried that people thought I was a freak.
