Heroin first time trying heroin, Not impressed???

So I recently got a bag of heroin and today I Ived it. I have no opiate tolerance and I shot the entire bag. I hit the vein perfectly as I have previous Iv experience With meth. As soon as I injected I tasted it and felt it come on strong. I couldn't walk and couldn't see very well. I felt sorta stimulated but sedated at the same time. I was VERY Itchy. The thing is is that I don't feel euphoric, just messed up. It has been about an hour and a half since I shot up and Its still very strong but I can see and walk again and type obviously. My question is why am I not euphoric? I am also not nodding off. Did I do too much? Not enough? was It bad dope? I Heard this batch was supposed to be good. What did I do Wrong? Thanks in advance.
 
You're lucky that you clearly got low quality 'dope,' regardless of what the batch was 'supposed to be.' A whole bag IV'd of pure heroin might have killed you. I honestly can't believe someone with no tolerance would just IV a bag of heroin, do you realize the severity of this situation? Heroin isn't that impressive, and like I have said before, It is best left for people who are opiate dependent, and have exhausted less potent means of getting high. Hydrocodone orally provides more euphoria. Heroin is more of means to maintain an addiction. You might wanna just quit where you're at.
 
I disagree. Heroin is way more euphoric and recreational for me than any prescription opiate I've tried. Then again, I've never IV'd it.

I've heard of some people not enjoying the feeling of heroin, so maybe you're just unlucky that way.

Otherwise you heard wrong and that batch isn't actually any good.
 
heroin is not really ideal for someone with no opiate tolerance. most of us seem to start with pills and switch to dope when everything else is too expensive to keep a habit going. from what you describe, it sounds like you actually got a decent hit. heroin is not really a euphoric drug- it's more of a numbing sensation than a happy one. there's a lot of hype surrounding it so people expect it to be more than it is, like when people say "it's the best orgasm you've ever had times ten", i've never felt that way. it's simply not that good. you should quit while you're ahead- it's not gonna get better, and once you're locked into the cycle of withdrawal/shooting up just to get well it's very hard to break out of.
 
I shot the whole thing because I wanted to feel the legendary rush. Which I assume I did It just wasn't nearly as intense as Iv meth. Yes I am aware that They Are entirely different drugs.
 
^ Meth is king. Cant beat it. Seriously though, liking meth and what it allows, i struggled with H as well, except for the nod, cant beat that. I prefer strong Kratom though since its a little of both

it's a matter of personal preference. someone who is very fond of meth is likely not to be too into heroin because they produce such different effects. likewise, someone who loves heroin will probably not enjoy meth all that much. you can't really just say one is better than the other because they're completely different things that cater to different people.
 
The reason I wanted to try heroin was just that, the fact that they are completely different as I cannot enjoy stimulants anymore because of meth induced phycosis from being up for days on insane dosages. As soon as I take a stimulant now I immediately get crazy paranoid delusions. Its terrible.
 
Perhaps since you didn't seem to enjoy H, it would be good not to try it again (just to see if the second time is better). This could be how an addiction is formed and that would be unfortunate, especially since you didn't even enjoy it in the first place.
 
Im starting to nod now and it feels very nice. Im getting a little paranoid feeling though. Also a bit nauseous. Is paranoia normal?
 
Nausea us normal. I almost always puked when snorted H. If you didn't like it, you're lucky. Don't do it again, just to see
 
Heroin euphoria is nothing like that produced by stims and psyches. It's waaaaay more subtle than that, of a different kind entirely. Anyone coming to it expecting this whole better than any orgasm you ever had rush thing, especially someone used to shooting up meth ( or speed, or coke for that matter ) is likely gonna be disappointed, they're two very different kinds of euphoric. Heroin's is more of a kind that would let you be content in an empty room, not caring. Heroin's often an acquired taste. I wasn't all that taken with it when I first tried it after years of stimulant use, I had to learn to like it. That you're not impressed is probably a good thing. Hopefully you'll be less inclined to repeat the test. Might be you've had shit gear this time round but it's likely you'd be just as 'WTF, is that it?' with something decent too, it's nothing worth pursuing if first impressions are unfavourable. Nothing good lies that way, trust me.
 
Yeah exactly, coming from meth the subtlety is difficult. I made myself sick and fucked first time Kratom trying to make it do something, which it was obviously. Glad i learnt there before going overboard with H. Expectations are different and big with first time opiates/H.

Still the euphoria is just ok but the nod is far better the expected. "it's the best orgasm you've ever had times ten" is certinally not the case by far but also personal taste comes into play, at least nasally that is. That description is still reserved for meth for when you can literally do that 10 times in a row with ease.

Youre lucky you didnt die.......shooting a whole bag w/o feeling a strong high means you had garbage. Good heroin would have turned your lips blue & you would have ended up in the morgue shooting a whole bag w/o any tolerance.

Unfortunately, to get the best out of H, you need a bit of a habit, something you want to avoid. Most people who try it for the first time, dont really enjoy itbecause the nausea and such overides the nice nod you need a habit to enjoy!! Do yourself a favour, stick to weed, heroin addiction is not a fun thing:(
 
This is not strange to me at all.

The first time I tried H, I felt good for like 10 seconds and then I was like, this is it? Well later on I figured out that first of all my buddy had given me a very small dose which had something to do with it, but that was not the only reason why. I tried h a second time and it was a lot more fun this time. I enjoyed it a lot this time, but only for about and hour and then I felt sick and weird and again I thought "is this it?" Well it wasn't it..

The THIRD time I shot h (just like the third time I smoked marijuana, I guess this is a rule of thumb for me.) was fucking the BEEZ-NEEZ. I got the most insanely awesome rush ever and a high that lasted at least 5 hours, barely any nausea, it was great.... I even felt great the next day too.

Now I'm a junkie and can't stop using.

So yes, sometimes it does take a couple time to get the "real" high, but don't go down the same road I did because if I hadn't tried it that third time, I would still be doing simple things like adderall and xanax to get high. I wouldn't have to go through a half g in a day to stay high, and my life wouldn't be the mess that it now is.
 
First of all, what you did was incredibly dangerous. Having never done H or have any sort of opiate tolerance, to just go straight to IV'ing an entire bag of H, is extremely reckless and if it was better quality stuff, could have killed you... I would be a lot more cautious in the future. It's pretty serious shit to be messing around with, man.

Anyway, that being said.. like others have posted, many people don't experience a very pleasant time when first using H. They get bad side effects and feel like shit... even if that doesn't happen though, sometimes the high just isn't what they expected or maybe they did too much or too little.

If you were expecting anything like meth, you were bound for disappointment because they aren't even in the same ball park. Unfortunately, heroin use gets better in time... and I say unfortunately because if that starts to happen, you're already at serious risk for addiction and psychical dependence.
 
Heroin is definitively a taste one acquires. While I've known many junkies, I've known a few people who have found it to be lackluster upon first uses. Coincidentally, these people were all stimulant users....
Don't know your history/potential for addiction but I have misused every class of drug to a point many would call addiction (really they were mostly just everyday fun things) and the lady H is the only one that ever fucked me over really bad. It will rearrange your brain and life heavily and slowly eat away at who you were. Happy nodding! Don't hurt yourself itching hahah
