My friend wants to bring 2 10mg methadone pills with him on the plane tomorrow. I believe he has them in his little coin pocket on his pants in his carry-on. He wants to know if that's a good enough hiding spot and also if its likely the dogs will sniff them out?

Personally I wouldnt risk it. Im so paranoid i got new ATM cards and scrubbed my wallet clean of any specs before i flew. But thats illicit stuff.

For prescriptions, i would only in a proper container. I once got a bottle of xanax that wasn't from any pharmacy or script, so no white label, and the scary customs guy at Zurich gave me a shifty look. I then left them on the second plane later ffs. Anyways I wouldnt do that again either.

Oh, i even got shit for my two (1 as backup) athma pumps since apparently it contains steroids and is abused by athletes for performance enhancement, wtf. I promised i wasnt trying to smuggle the second on in for distribution so they let me go.

No don't chance it. Things were so much easier prior 9-11. Now it's a whole different ball game.

I suspect this thread will get closed, but I'll still say that it's definitely not worth the risk, it's unlikely he'll get away with it.

I have carried suboxone and methadone all over Australia and all throughout SE Asia...never had a problem. Don't know about the USA though... Get a letter from the doctor if you can so you can have a reason to have it. Otherwise water balloon them and put them in the side of your mouth.

Your playing with fire carrying Opiates in South East Asia - many countries sentences carry life imprisonment/Death penalty.

They are that strict many of the countries pharmacies do not even sell any products that contain Codeine.
