Can anyone give me some insight into how cannabis affects the Salvia experience?

More anxiety? Less anxiety?
More relaxed?
Do you feel "dumber"?

Does anyone have experience with combining the two using the oral methods? I'm actually ingesting cannabutter (somewhat medicinally) and using Salvia buccally.

I would like to hear from people who have specifically compared and contrasted the effects of Salvia alone with Salvia taken with Cannabis.

Thank you.

I've smoked both Salvia and Cannabis independently and together, and to be perfectly honest I haven't noticed that Salvia with Cannabis is that much different than Salvia without it. The aftereffects are certainly different, but when I'm in the thick of a Salvia trip I'm much too far gone to notice how stoned I am.

Would you say that the experiences operate at sort of different planes? They don't interact much?

So this would be with breakthrough salvia experiences? Have you tried it with milder ones?

Tough question I think. Personally I prefer to vaporize salvia and cannabis always together, I find that cannabis makes the overall salvia experience feel longer (in a good way), more dreamier, somewhat deeper, less rough/bumpy, more enjoyable/pleasurable but also more a bit more cloudy, wouldn't explicitly use the world dumb, but it does dull all the aspects of the experience just a little bit for me, not only the 'negatives'. I don't know if there's less anxiety or just more of, umm, what's the opposite of anxiety on top of it to balance it out? Like both pain and pleasure receptors being tickled at the same time.

They definately do interact together, but sort of on a different plane? Well, sort of but not really. It's like, the more salvia you take the deeper to the space you'll fly, but it's the cannabis that shapes the view from your cockpit, how comfortable you are sitting there and what you end up doing once you're there. You can't change the destination where you're going, but you can influence how you handle everything on the way there and once you are there so to speak.

I find that these two substances have great synergy together, it's like they complete each other or balance each other out, just be careful you get the ratio of each substance correct (this would depend on your personal tolerance and strength of material).

Thanks for the in-depth description of your direct experience with the combination, FnX, that was helpful.

Here's my experience mixing oral hash with the quid method (which is mild);

As for smoking I think you will find once you smoke salvia you are pretty much on Salvia, it is so dominating I doubt you will notice much THC. A lot of people try a hit of Salvia when they are high and I don't think they notice much. Might depend of if you are used to weed.The only thing might be to try several bongs of high potency skunk just before the Salvia hit so THC rises as Salvinorin A declines; I am wondering if this might extend the Salvia

I actually like FnX's description a lot, it matches how I feel about Cannabis+Salvia when I'm cogent enough to notice that I'm on drugs.
