I know someone who used to grow for profit. He never flowered his plants. Just grew cuttings for a lot of different growers, charged a tenner each for a well rooted, large, healthy cutting of known stock...made goood money off it.

One of his reasons for growing cuttings didn;t make sense, he thought it was less risk as he wasn't growing buds and didn't have a set-up to produce buds. The fact he grew hundreds at a time, and that his defence was that he wasn't growing bud but just supplied cuttings to others would have made things worse for him IMO....

He didn't have all the smell and palaver associated with harvesting and trimming buds, but he'd have been fucked if he'd been caught.

That aside, there's been a few Vitnamese growhouses round here busted since the pricks murdered one of their slave-labour "gardeners" and dumped the body in the middle of a crossroads in a teensy-weensy lil town near here. Cos that won't draw a fukload of unwanted attention at all 8)

it seems there has been quite a good choice of different strains around my way of late. OG kush, sensie star and various other good buds that i have been told are "high grade". All more expensive than the average weed but if cured and trimmed properly i don't mind that much.

Has anyone else been hit with some fucking abysmal black hash recently? I got some last week - decent weight, everything looked fine, but as soon as I skinned up and took the first toke I realised that it just wasn't 'right'. Five spliffs later, I could still hardly feel anything but a bad chest, an all pervading smell of wax and/or petrochemicals and a weird, hypnotic feeling of being slightly retarded. The next morning I felt like shit - it had a hangover like mirtazepine or similar and I just couldn't shake off this horrible feeling of impending doom. God knows what was in that shit, but it wasn't nice at all. True to form, I persevered with it thinking it was just me, I must have been on a downer or something. But everyone else that sampled it said the same thing. It was really disappointing because black used to be such a lovely, calming smoke, but it all went to shit in the 90's. Since then it's been a very hit or miss affair (usually 'miss' ime), and this has just reminded me to not go near black with a fucking bargepole without sampling it first. Never before have I been so glad to run out of smoke...

Yeah I was gunna suggest fake gold seal, did it have a sort of playdough smell to it?

A year ago I remember getting some truly shocking black hash, ultra soft, even when cold, think it was cut with ghee or something similiar, utter garbage though

Definitely seen that in the last couple of years but luckily not lately. There seemed to be various 'strengths' of ghee and the worst one would practically dribble fat as it was smoked. 8(
