Opioids Need some advice with opiate tolerance.

I have a script of 50 mg tramadol. My tolerance has sky rocketed over the past week and I want to know if it is possible to lower my tolerance just by taking smaller amounts instead of stopping all together.
I have been taking 6 to 8 of them a day so if I just took like 2 to 3 would my tolerance go down or I just be wasting them?

How many MGs are the pills? Do you know that doses over 400mgs put you at a risk of having a seizure?

As I already stated they are 50 mg tablets and yes I am aware of the potential seizure risk.

It might lower your tolerance slightly after a long time (you'll waste a lot of pills in the meantime) but it's not going to be as profound as if you just stopped for a while.

Just a quick question ...have you ever had to stop/suddenly lower your dose before? If so, did you experience any withdrawal symptoms?

Well no not with tramadol. I am not prescribed them I just got lucky and ended up with a script. I have experienced withdrawel from methadone and zoloft but never with tramadol.
