Hey,

So that you wont get distracted from the topic, this happened me 3 weeks ago.

Me and my friend were hanging around in the city, both having terrible hangover. In a public place few guys offered some suboxone for us, we refused from that. After while we thought to go speak with those same guys asking after MDMA or other party substances. Well it turned that we both purchased 1 suboxone pills each. We havent never took any benzos/bupre/opiates, so we took few beers and sliced 2 / 5 of the pill for both of us(I took 1/5 and friend took 1/5 approximately), we put the pills below our tongues waiting for the effect to occur. Well I think it took 30min or so, we both noticed the strange wind of good mood and positiveness in us. We both liked the effect pretty much, shame that we "ruined" the night by drinking much alcohol after that (afterwards I red that bupre and alco combo may damage liver severely). Well, night went good we didnt take any suboxone/bupre after that, effect was really nice tho.

But, next day after this when I took my relieve for my pain (it is prescriped for ache, srsly) some Paracetamol/Codein tablets. I think it is 1000mg of paracetamol and 60mg codeine. Something happened about 30 min after I took that medicine, I went really dizzy and disoriented. Feeling was similiar of being really drunk, you know, vision is spinning. Im wondering what can cause this kind of effect, was there some bupre still on my system when I took codeine in order to gain this kind of experience?

Thanks beforehand.

Mixing suboxone/opiates/opioids or any other CNS depressant (especially when you have no tolerance) is incredibly dangerous. And I second what CH said about Alchohol and Bupe.

but OP asked why codeine made him feeling so dizzy as normally it wouldn't happen, or am i wrong?
I can only suppose that your opioids receptors where still stimulated by subo , which half life (HALF :) ) is around 24h, so codeine hit you while you where already opioid-stimulated (:

Yup, thats what I asked. Well if the bupre half life is around 24h, then its no wonder how I felt pretty positive and good despite the hangover at the next day. Actually the 60mg of codeine will give me euphoric and relaxing feeling always, after the bupre night, next day when I took codeine I did get really REALLY dizzy. So may that be the conclusion for the dizzyness what you've said :).

good i'm glad to have been useful (:
Oh by the way now you know how to obtain a stronger effect from codeine using bupre the night before :P That's the positive side of it ^_^
