Benzos Will Zantac (Ranitidine) potentiate benzos like Tagamet (Cimetidine)?

Anyone know? My chemist doesn't have Tagamet (they said it's really old and hardly used anymore) but they had an alternative which was Zantac so I bought a small box of that. Will it potentiate benzos anxiolytic effects at all?
If so, how much to take and when, at the same time as the benzo, a bit before, after, etc?

Benzo specifically is Diazepam in this case.

Ranitidine has 10% the affinity that cimetidine has to CYP450

Nope too weak. Cimetidine is already a weak inhibitor.

Damnit. Thanks for the reply anyway. What's the best potentiatior, grapefruit juice? I'm just looking to boost the anxiolytic effects so I don't need to take as many to 'feel' it. Or does it just increase the sedation effect (IE: make you more sleepy?)

That abstract says cimetidine had an effect, not ranitidine. OP, white grapefruit juice will work, fresh grapefruit is even better. Eat a whole grapefruit about a half hour before you dose. Im sure this has been covered many times before.
