A few questions about molly/reagent testing

Hi there :)

So I've got some molly here and I just tested it using the marquis reagent test. It turned dark purple in about 5 seconds and bubbled a little. I've read some conflicting things about what color it's supposed to turn - some say black, some say dark purple. Which is it? :? My reagent test kit is a little over 2 years old. Does this make a difference? Also, I have (what I believe) is 400 mg. I bought a scale that should be here soon, but I was wondering how much powder 400 mg should look like. It was given to me in one of those super tiny, square ziplock bags (about an 1.5 inch long x 1.5 inch wide). The molly fills up a little less than half the ziplock back. Does that sound like 400 mg?

as for weight that is hard to say. a feather the size of a lump of gold will not weigh the same...

i know that a 00 size cap fits pretty much 300mg of powder give or take obviously.

Thanks for your response :) When you say that a 00 cap fits 300 mg of powder, do you mean 300 mg of molly? Or just powder in general.
 
MDMA - though that is an approximation

its really only a loose speculation best bet is to get yo self dem scales.

It's purple, but it's dark enough that it looks black. What you described sounds like a good test to me.

As for the weight, just be patient and weigh it with your scale! It's not going anywhere. ;)

Lol good call :p Also is the bubbling normal?
 
Bubbling is normal, I'm pretty sure it tells the presence of hcl salt.

And, as stated above, weigh it to be absolutely sure but about half of the tiny baggies you're talking about sounds right.
