Opioids How to do morphine without the needle

I have some round, white 15mg morphine sulfate pills with the imprint 54 733.
What's the best way to ingest these between oral and nasal?
Also, are these about the same strength as hydrocodone through these ROAs?
 
I know the bioavailability of these orally is less than hydro, but the potency mg for mg is pretty much the same.

I used to have some of these and I did sort them, but I found it to be a lot of powder and maybe should have just eaten them. My buddy got good results eating them.
 
@Crashing- ^ wrong. if you want your high to last longer. plugging would be your best bet. its got a way better BA then oral or nasal, and last longer

Yeah between oral and nasal oral is your best bet. Plugging would be the best route outside of IV if you are willing to do so.
 
If you're not going to IV you might as well stick 'em up your ass. Literally.

This. And if you are sooo uncomfortable about it or think it's homosexual you probably have some suppressed issues. Snorted morphine might as well just be thrown out morphine. Even plugged morphines pretty weak but every other roa than IV is pretty much useless in my opinion.

haha no problem. I just mean in the sense that so many people get all bent out of shape about it like they're afraid puttin a little oral syringe in your butthole is gonna make them gay or something know what I mean?
 
Yeah man honestly I highly recommend plugging your morphine. Oral and nasal are just so inefficient it is pretty much a waste to use either of those ROA's. Plugging is very very safe and very efficient, highly recommended. What do you have to lose by trying to plug em?

There was no need for the first part of your post. The guy never said a thing about not wanting to plug. And this is a harm reduction site so saying every other ROA other than IVibg is useless is counter productive.
 
Well I ended up eating just over 30mg of morphine.
I usually take 35mg of hydro.

I think I realize now that although they are the same potency mg for mg, the difference in BA suggests I needed to take over two times that amount of morphine, because I barely caught a buzz.

Does that sound about right?

I realize that you were asking only about nasal and oral ROA's ... But may I ask, have you ever tried plugging? Do you have anything against it? I will leave it at that for now.
Some people are uncomfortable with this ROA and that's fine. It DEFINITELY has advantages in some situations-including this one.

I don't have anything against it, nor do I look down upon it or think it's gay, it's just not something I'd personally feel comfortable doing.
Either way, I'm trying to lead this thread away from turning into some huge controversial argument on why people do or don't like plugging, I'd just like to learn more about taking morphine orally.

So, to reiterate my above post, when taking morphine orally, since the potency of morphine and hydrocodone are equal but the oral BAs are lower, does that mean I would need to take more morphine than I would hydrocodone to get the same high? It seems like an obvious answer but I just want to make sure.

If I have this right, my math is that the BA of oral morphine is 30% and the BA of oral hydrocodone is 80%, thus to get a high equal to 30mg of hydrocodone, I would have needed to take 80mg of morphine. Is that right?

If 30mg of hydrocodone gets you high, essentially you get high off of 24mg (we are assuming orally). With morphines oral BA of 30%, yes you would need an equivalent dose of 80mg. 80mg of morphine = 30mg of hydrocodone orally.

24mg of each drug would be absorbed, roughly, as it depends on a few other factors.

Yea that definitely sounds right. Back in the day i could take like 3-4 vicodins and get a pretty good high. Whereas my normal morphine dose was between 60-120 usually. My recommendation would be take 60 milligrams next time but don't take more than that or you might get a bit sick. I took 120 mg my first time and ended up pukin in the bathroom at school.

See...that would be an OD had you used the needle...I knew a guy who was into Oxycontin,like dependent on them and he went blue and purple at my house his first time shooting morphine,and he did 2 60 mg tabs...

at one time I remember doing 2-3 200 mg tablets IV when I woke up in the am...usually in 2 shots.

to the OP private message me next time you get morphine and I will give you my address so they can be safely disposed of!(jk)
