Hi all,

I noticed something peculiar, and was wondering if anyone else has noticed this seeminly paradoxical effect.

I was recently switched from Concerta to Vyvanse. On the first day, I took 20mg of Vyvanse, and this resulted in a really bad day full of anxiety and depression. For the next few days, I was reluctant to try again due to these negative effects I experienced. Today however, I decided to give 30mg a shot instead, and WOW; I love this stuff. No anxiety, slight mood lift, relaxed and great focus!

Has anyone else noticed that under-dosed Vyvanse (or other amphetamines for that matter) can have negative effects not apparent at a slightly higher dose? The difference is night and day for me. :\

I've noticed that with most stimulants and psychedelics. It's called a sweet spot, if you dose under or over you'll get anxiety.

I think this relates to almost all stimulants (at least in my case).
This would be especially true if you have ADHD and are prescribed for it (and dont just take vyvanse like so many kdis do recreationally).
But yes, you need to find the right dosage otherwise it creates an uneasiness.
