Everyone talking about how it could have been nbome are missing the most important fact...

Nbome on tabs only work if you hold them in your mouth, you could up and swallow a dozen nbome tabs and i'm not sure you'd feel a thing.

So, OP, what you got, you said didn't taste bitter (first strike against it being nbome), and secondly, did you swallow it or hold it in your mouth for like 30 minutes? If you just swallowed it and tripped that hard, it wasn't an nbome, plain and simple.

I think there is still LSD out there, but I've only had LSD once. From a liquid dropper, only reason I know it was LSD was that I was with a guy who's much much older and experience than I am, he said it definitely was acid, just a low dose (he also made a comment about how it was "crumby acid", not sure if that just means again, a low dosed blotter, or if he meant something else).

But it definitely, compared to all the things I have tripped on, had a distinct feel to it, a beauty that nothing else had, it felt so true unlike many other RC psychs like nbomes that feel artificial IMO.

OP held it in his mouth so that rules that out, plus nbome complexed on blotter is orally active, so that test doesnt work either, you need a lab analysis and thats the only way to tell.

I'm sure it is a known and provable fact that acid today is not nearly as strong as the 60's - 70's acid was. Dealers don't want people losing their mind off a single tab. Didn't Owsley make millions of hits at 240 mics or something? I'm happy with 100 mic tabs now.

I wouldn't worry about it being a NBOME. It's getting a bit crazy with everyone paranoid over what drug they are eating. If it is from a friend, and you tripped, and there weren't VERY abnormal side effects, don't stress. It sounds 100% like an LSD trip. No reason to think otherwise.

sounds like you got nbome'd but there is still real LSD out there. LSD-25 is lsd-25, it's just a chemical. There's no way it can be any different between then and now.

Seriously? What in his post makes you think he got nbome'd? Are you saying LSD won't cause an increased heart rate? He really said nothing that should make anyone suspect it wasn't LSD.

This is essentially the same question Erowid answered using Delysid from the 50s. People: if you want to know about a drug, thouroughly read through the drug's page on Erowid, then ask questions on Bluelight. Basically, LSD is weaker now per tab, but it's still the same molecule, and other molelculeles that might pollute your tabs are unlikely to matter.

I'm like 95% sure it is not active orally. Why else would people who swallow these tabs not feel anything, why else do all the trip reports say they held it in there mouth, and I can't find a single source saying nbome (on tab, or any form) is orally active.

What is it that you still don't understand about my last post if you don't mind me asking? The only difference is that people got a lot more micrograms for their money. Because there were more micrograms per dosage unit, what people experienced from taking "one" or "two" was far stronger than what people typically experience today. It was more "amazing" because people were ingesting more of it not because of any subjectively consequential differences in the purity of the product (and because the past is recalled through rosy glasses). It all stems from the fact that most people have no way of objectively measuring ugs of LSD on blotter and they haven't changed their assumption that the dose is the same as it used to be, and so dealers exploit that ignroance to rip them off. That's it. If you want to know what it was like to trip off of one tab of one dollar 70s acid spend $8 - 50 and take 2 - 5 hits of today's.

^^^ LSD is LSD, doses were just higher back then. I had a very strong trip in the 90s (iron maiden blotter) which was stronger than the strawberries, purple ohms and microdots. Just one hit was very visual, trees were moving around, windows changing color etc. it was amazing but slightly overwhelming. Acquired some cid recently which was about a quarter of the strength, but still had a great time, the euphoria and giggles were still there, and I was able to have conversations with sober friends in the club and nobody suspected I was tripping. It's not all about quantity ..
