Drugs or love?

I was going to choose love, until my boyfriend came by my computer and saw the topic of this thread and told me he'd choose drugs. So I decided to change my mind and choose drugs!
 
Love.

For me its the most uniting and destructive force imaginable; no drug has come close to that feeling of perfection that love creates.
 
Hey OP try subtracting the drugs from the equation. If the equation cannot be met; the two parties cannot co-exist together in the fundamental ways of love, it's the drugs or something worse. Take it from experience. Please.

Haha!

I want to add to my initial response and say I think drugs give a better and more intense feeling in the short-term, but in the long-term love's definitely got the upper hand.

My boyfriend then wanted a hug and a kiss and I told him that he could ask his ketamine for a kiss!! :p

That's true! I mean, the feeling of something strong like MDMA, that is an AMAZING feeling for the short term. But they have hangovers. Risk for addiction. I dunno, there are much more negatives associated with drugs than with love! (Although I still love drugs aha).

Oh no yeah definitely. The thing with drugs is that it's an unnatural feeling, so with certain opiates for instance you'll feel euphoric to a point that's simply not 'naturally' possible. But yeah, if you start relying on that you'll eventually get screwed. Not that love won't screw you over sometimes either I have to say, haha

I'd say that is absolutely the most accurate list on the subject I've seen.

I was thinking drugs at first, because it led me to the love, but nothing is better than true love. Not just with your partner although it should be the ultimate expression of love, but also the love for your friends and your family, the love for the land in which you live, and love for the infinite amounts of beautiful experiences just waiting to be experienced, and the love for just being here to experience anything at all.

How could anything be better than that?! Drugs are merely the finger pointing at the moon, if you follow my metaphor.

Well for one, love doesn't make you euphoric :\
Happy maybe, content maybe, but not euphoric.
Not that I'm advocating drugs over love, but I'm just saying, it's easy to find reasons why drugs are better...
