Just a quick one. I cant find any satisfactory answers anywhere.

Fortunately I heard that Seroquel was dangerous with opiates so I never took them together, thankfully and cheers to my BL brothers who responded on that post.
I understand there is a risk of OD due to the sedation.

I had taken on Kratom before without any issues though.

Anyways twice now I have taken Seroquel as per daily dose a while after H has worn off and should be clear from my system (because i forgot the first event).

Anyways both times i experienced an immediate massive increase in heartrate and intensity that was terrifying. There was no anxiety but due to logical thinking i was convinced i would die as the intensity seemed impossible to keep up for more then a short time without breaking. It was the most scary drug related experience and the closest I have gotten to calling the ER. And i know anxiety, fear and other concernin drug side effects quite well and this was the worst.

Fortunately it seems to return to normal after about 5 to 10 minutes of waiting for the end. Fukin life flashes and everything.

I cant really understand while this occurs. Obviously there must be some remnant opiate still in my system causing the reaction as it only happened twice when stopping a binge.

I just dont understand the intensity and overall reason for this. I know Seroquel drops BP and increases heart rate normally but this is to intense and short lived, like a quick attack of some kind, and there should be little opiate left to cause much of a reaction.

I also considered the body state of a 3 day binge with no sleep however i do the same with meth and the Seroquel works just fine then.

Due to the intensity and possible danger of this I would like to know why if possible. In comparison i could honestly say taking this while high could be fatal if it got worse based on increased opiate levels in the body.
If this was normal though i should have found something but i didnt.

Thanks

I came here since you mentioned in another thread that no one had replied to this post. I think the reason is probably a combination of not wording it clearly and concisely enough and it being about an obscure phenomenon that perhaps no one had any ideas on the cause of. Perhaps in future you might want to keep your posts (at least the first one in a new thread) shorter and make your question very clear :) (not that I'm necessarily one to talk but your posts are really long even in comparison to mine, lol)

Unfortunately I can only speculate as to why this happened, let alone why it only lasted for 10 minutes.

Was this after your heroin binge where you had opiate withdrawals afterwards? If so, I know that for me Seroquel can increase the symptoms of opiate withdrawal. Perhaps the Seroquel triggered a panic attack? Panic attacks can come on out of the blue with no noticeable preceding anxiety, and can be induced by drugs. Seroquel increases the heart rate, as do comedowns and withdrawals from opioids, and very raised heart rate has been reported as a side effect of Seroquel, so maybe you were just more prone to it after binging on heroin and not taking Seroquel for a while and the increase in heart rate induced a panic attack, which would explain why it improved after 10 minutes.

I know exactly what u mean, that combo almost killed me too. I just lay there knowing i very well might die that night, too embarrassed to wake my gf with a call to the ambulance. I layed on the floor with legsup the wall and tried to breathe deep. eventually it slowed down...horrible combo.
