So is there anything i could do to avoid it? Even when taking a low dose I always have to throw up a couple hours later. I try to lay down to avoid it but it just delays the inevitable and I will eventually throw up. This didnt happen when taking hydrocodone even when i took more mg for mg. I always take both on empty stomachs which obviously might be the main problem but it never happened with hydrocodone so why would it be happening now? Am i allergic to oxycodone and basically fucked with nothing I can do?

That used to happen to me all the time, but i didn't know anyone else who would throw up on oxycodone except for me. I guess it can be pretty normal to feel nauseous from those pills, try taking a low dose like 5mg or 10, what dosage do you take? My first time i took a 20mg and threw up for hours

Smoke a bowl. Or take an antihistamine that reduces nausea. Promethazine, diphenhydramine (Benadryl), chlorpheniramine, doxylamine, there are a bunch of 'em.

dude I puked my brains out the first time I did 30 mgs of oxy at once, which was the 2nd time I ever did any oxy

id rather be fucked up and throw up half way through then mildly buzzed and fine the whole time

yes, dramamine works well, or better yet, generic 'motion sickness' pills

benedryl won't really do shit for your stomach, it will help eliminate the itches though

also try taking it after eating a small meal, taking it on an empty stomach could easily be why you're experiencing an upset stomach

there's almost no correlation between how high you can get and amount of food you have eaten

i would take it during school so i'd rather just dry heave than throw up my entire breakfast.

one time all the sudden the cold sweats came over my body and i quickly went to the bathroom and dry heaved a couple times before i got there.

ever since ive never taken it unless im able to go home within 3 hours.

Never get sick, but when I take high doses ( 4me 100mg plus....Oxy)
I get out of sorts, like panic.
Not sure if that's normal, is there something I could do to stop that.....other than take less

Perhaps you're allergic to oxy, or you're not handling it well in the stomach. Have you tried eating a meal before you dose up? I know that 100% helps me with nausea (although I rarely, if ever get any apart from on codeine at high doses) and it will also potentiate your high nicely, especially if its a fatty meal. I really suggest that if you're wanting to continue using oxy - don't turn to the anti-emetics yet as they are kind of nasty and make the high much less enjoyable.

IMO if you are getting this type of reaction, you are simply dosing too high as others have said. There is no shame in lowering your dose. However, if you truly feel this not to be the case, then an allergy is possible, in which case you should stop use of this substance all together for your own well being. It sounds hardly worth it to get a fix. Better and safer to go back to something else you know doesn't effect you as adversely if you must use something.

If you're getting this reaction with oxycodone and you didn't with hydrocodone, it's very probably simply because oxy is much stronger. I also jumped from hydro to oxy and I couldn't stop throwing up the first few times. Try lowering your doses - also, if you lie down, breathe slowly and tilt your head back, it can often help to make the nausea pass.

I was just going to suggest this as I tend to throw up too on Oxy's, but usually only after I go above 100mg. Laying down seems to do the trick most of the time and reduces the nausea. Most of the time though I feel just fine and I'll randomly start vomiting out of nowhere, which is fine but does get annoying at times.

As everyone else said, lower the dose ;)

Oxy is stronger than hydro, both in mg for mg and the high itself.

Do less. Just cuz you "don't feel high" doesn't mean the drug isn't having effects. Different opiates different highs, you can't always expect them to feel the same or sometimes even similar.

If that doesn't work try taking it when your stomach is empty or full, see which is better. If that doesn't work then maybe you just have a sensitive stomach. Smoking weed always helps me.

i know oxy is stronger but going any lower and i would just be wasting it. I think it has to be that im taking it on an empty stomach or im just allergic to it.

i do have an acid reflux problem which will make my stomach hurt when im very nervous so maybe my stomach is sensitive.
