I wasn't sure actually... they are really deep lyrics and inspired by a friend of Bono's who died of a Heroin overdose. I don't think he'd take the piss out of me or my choice of music. I havn't really noticed many of his posts so I'm not that familiar with the guy but I wasn't under the impression he was ignorant.

I like your positivity!

I don't, however, like Bono very much.

I can't say I don't like early u2 tho, cause I do. Brings me back to a certain time and a place. I love music that's ephemeral that also manages to stand the test of time.

Spacemen 3 - So Hot ( Wash away all of my tears )

Spacemen 3 split in 91/92 and went their separate ways (after 4 (ish) albums)

One of the members formed Spiritualized. I kinda like Spiritualized more, but don't, but do for different reasons. It's a toughie to call. Spacemen 3 are kinda more psychedelic, Spiritualized a little less so ... they're a little more orchestral/classical and something else ... eh. lots of elses actually ...

Kate loves Spiritualized too. So, that alone makes em worth checking out :D

I'll post a few tracks. I think you'll like em, and not just cause of the Jesus references. It's not really a religious thing, more of a rock n' roll/emotional thing. but just good. very good. great music that identifies with base level human stuffs .. lovely to chill with, perfect to cry with, and sometimes a perfect partner to substances that help you drift off and be taken to beautiful places.
