I am thinking about moving in the summer to your part of the UK too

Yes excellent programme,just laughing at this russian woman beating a bloke around the head with a spade cos he helped the germans,traitors deserved what they got for giving up their own folk to the nazis.

I knew what you meant mate about the programme,it is the best programme to cover the whole of the war.

I wasnt, I was just laughing at the timing. Those programmes are very important in helping younger generations to never forget.

I'm off to get some fresh air, still 7 inches of snow here.

I must be getting old & soft in my old age, when I was watching the weather I was thinking about selected EADD members & thinking how they were going to get on in the snow & was kind of worried how they would get bread etc

Me & maxalfie come correct with WW2 stuff, I been a fan of the show for years & watch it every time on Yesterday on freeview, saying that anything to do with wars on Yesterday is worth watching.

From my TV thread me & maxalfie share alot of the same tv taste.
 
Im in bristol farmaz, which is weird cos people in west wales and cornwall have been saying on FB their snow has all gone, pictures of snow men stood in green fields with no snow in sight. Theres tons here. Maybe warm air from the west is thawing it, id be gutted if i woke up tomorrow and it was all gone.

All the roads & pavements are compacted ice now, this is when it gets ankle breakingly lethal.

the east coast was meant to get less snow than most according to tha news weather, but it's still a few inches deep here, with underlying ice below the snow. So I dunno what I'm supposed to make of the fact that the SW were meant to get it worse than me?

Northern snow is made of concrete? I dunno. Southerners got Disney snow, and we get the real stuffs? ;)
 
Southerners should cry a river for the girly snow they have, and the salt of their tears will melt it.
