Bupe What did you have to do to get your suboxone script?

I assume this isn't the same as asking how to get prescribed Xanax or OxyContin. But if its aloud, could members on suboxone tell me what they had to go through as far as appointments & cost?

First of all you have to find a dr thats licensed to prescribe it, they usually only take a certain number of patients, well here in minnesota anyways, then make an appointment and jump thru all their hoops. to find a dr near you go to www.suboxone.com, you can also print coupons for suboxone.

Getting a Suboxone prescription isn't much different from getting any other prescription. The main difference is the fact that there's protocol as to how the doctor determines if you need it or not and the fact that not all doctors can prescribe Suboxone.

Find a doc that's licensed. They usually only take cash. Some drug test every month, some never. And have a legit reason to need it

I had a good relationship with my psych doctor as I had been his patient for more than a decade. I finally broke down and told him that I had been to a pain clinic. He was one of the doctors who had clearance to write suboxone and urged me to get off oxys. He was very understanding and even once my insurance ran out, called the pharmacy for a refill script. I couldn't afford to see him anymore.
