Risks with Cultivation Of Mushrooms

This might be the wrong place sorry.

However what is the major risks of this? I know getting a bust of course but can dogs smell them? I don't think so.
What about ordering that syringe of spores along with a grow kit seems like the DEA would be all over my ass in the event of me doing this.

So pretty much if I ordered this stuff on the interwebz right this sec how much time before my door is busted down and I am found pupils the size of pancakes hiding under my bathroom sink?

Do people actually look into this kind of stuff? also I just got arrested for poss. so I am not a law abiding citizen anymore so yes I am a bit paranoid.

Imo the safest way is to buy only the spores online since they are legal, only from the mycelium you start having psilocybin.
If the grow kit is the one in the bowl ready to fruit it should already contain mycelium so it would be illegal.
Anyway it's not that hard to grow most strains of cubensis without a professional or expensive equipment, you can find everything you need in your town; as for the box, honey, rye, peat, pearlite, serpentine to heat, humidifier, jars, polyfill from pillows, calcium carbonate in pharmacy, calcium chloride in ironmongery, the thermostat in a reptile house etc, so you just really need to buy spores online.

For sure you will spend more with all this equipment than for a ready to fruit growkit, but after you have all this stuff you can go on for a lifetime.
In the past i spent really much but only because i am a megalomaniac and i bought 40 different strains, but tbh i just needed one.

And anyway i would buy a print and not a syringe, it cost slighly more but you will have many more spores, with a print you can usually do some syringes and also the pack is smaller and less suspicious.
The bad thing about the print is that you have to work more,you need to make syringes in sterile water, i use a pressure cooker to sterilize water in a glass, when it's cold i scratch inside the spores on a clean workbench, i shake a bit and the work is done.

See goes to show you what I knew about it haha. I thought I print had nothing to do with spores but with the identity of that mushroom ( like fingerprints for humans ) lol not even kidding. I will look into this now probably turn into a raging hippy ( more so than now ) but hey who cares! :D

ahah when i started 10 years ago i didn't know much too, you just need to read some good guide on various techniques and invest a bit of time and energy but in the end when they finally grow you will feel like alice in wonderland

I lost all the guide links i had, you should search for any tech using rye as substrate and then peat or coconut fiber as casing to make it fruit, and not PFtek imo, you will gain much better results using a casing instead of doing the rice cake in the PFtek where you don't use any casing but you let it fruit directly from the cake made mixing vermiculite and brown rice flour.
Anyway tomorrow i will take a look around to see if there is some good guide online.

I would love to try myself adding some Mipt in the substrate and watching if it really convert it to 4-HO-Mipt in the mushroom like i've heard, too bad Mipt it isn't cheap and i have really few left.
It would be cool to have mushrooms containing both psilocybin and 4-HO-Mipt :D

There are tons of websites out there with more than enough information to cater your needs.

I'd go with a spore print, most of them come on sterile glass and are pretty discrete.

I'd actually counter the advise some people here are dropping and say that as a beginner you should consider spore syringes over prints.
I'd say this simply because having premade spore syringes is one less step where contamination can occur, and as a beginner learning proper sterilization and sanitation methods can be tricky.

If you end up having to explain yourself to any sort of custom authorities over the package you'll be no worse off for them being in a syringe rather than a print on a slide.

If you are sure you understand both the concept and practice of having a sterile workspace then prints would be preferred.

Thanks for that Idea too. I honestly do not know how this will play out but if it goes good then my days of crawling through the world in search of Psys will come to an end :D which would be great.
