PS: In thrilling update news, still much quieter even when playing vids which was what sent it sillyloud before. Tightening that loose screw seems to have done the trick for now. Must've been vibrating like fuck that panel 8o
 
as a rule i despise mc's but i have a huge collection of jungle from 1994 where they got it right

i was never in coventry or wolverhampton in 1994 i was in dublin but i bought a huge amount of tape boxsets of jungle at the time and mc's featured in most of them only the quest mc's got it right and increased the vibe imo.
i bought slammin vinyl boxsets in 1996/1997 from london and the mc'ing was fucking rubbish and annoying.
got some happy hardcore from 1995 mostly sy and seduction the mc'ing is cringe lol

Of all the stuff with MCs over the top I've heard over the years those two lil beauties are the only ones that ever stuck in memory. I'm not saying I'm happy about that fact but it's true nonetheless. Was some godawful shite being spouted over tunes.

they were generally a nuisance but i heard some funny ones from the quest crew that they said over the mike in rap style..
"if a man gets caught fucking with the crew (quest) we'll take him round the back batter him round the face....so listen.. :-)

that was jungle when it was at its best raw underground exciting.
drum and bass appeared in 1995 and it remained good and uncommercialised till about 1997 then commercial artists like goldie and ronie size appeared and it went overground and crap. just my opinion but if you could buy your DnB in a high street chain its most likely not the real mccoy

Made the schoolboy error of allowing meself to doze off for an hour or so earlier. Woke up dying for a piss and now can't get back to sleep. Full of sniffles and sneezes too. Feel like I've got a cold coming on but probably just cos I'm on me quick taperdown from codeine. Annoys the shit outta me that I have to taper bleedin codeine but I do or I'll only end up having to pop a tramadol cos I'm doubled up with cramps in a coupla days. Heyho. Coupla days of sniffles > giving in to tramadol cos I have no willpower. I used to be good at opi's. Must be down to me last functioning receptor cos even the slightest hint of even the mildest w/d is too much for me these days. Pitiful :\
