A friend of mine (actually) was recently complaining about some tabs he got, saying that it was bunk because he didn't have any visuals or body high off of two. It is my understanding that real LSD does not produce intense visuals or body highs at that dose, and that they are generally caused by impurites or research chemicals. Am I wrong?

I am unclear what you are asking. "RCs" refers to research chemicals and there are thousands of them that span the spectrum of stimulant, depressant, narcotic, to psychedelic. You have to be specific.

LSD at all but the smallest dosages produces intense visuals and 'body high.' That is the standard LSD effect.

Am I wrong?

yes. lsd does produce visuals, for me even on low doses, but it varies from person to person. and what dose are we talking about? you don't know that until you have your tabs lab tested. there are tabs with real lsd where one will shoot you to the moon and tabs with real lsd where you'd barely feel any effect of 5 of them.

we don't to identification threads here at bluelight, so i'll not got into detail, but one (pretty) sure way to tell if the tabs aren't lsd is to look at the duration. if a medium strength trip deviates too much from what you'd expect it's (almost) definitely not lsd. sadly it doesn't work the other way round.

This generalization is not applicable since there are LSD analogues for sale on the market; and reports suggest some of them are very LSD-like. I used to get so annoyed when people used the term "RC." That was back when the only research chemicals for sale were other psychedelics, or MDMA-like materials. Now the term is meaningless because not all research chemicals for sale on the market are not psychedelic.

I'll go back to assuming RC means Royal Crown cola. :)

There is a "feel" to LSD that you can't obtain from RCs.

I'd agree with Black, the duration is really one of the few ways to self identify your substance. I will notice effects from LSD within thirty minutes of dosing, and I am at an accelerated peak within the two hour mark. Crests around 4-6 hours, and gradually decreases in intensity over the remaining 4-6 hours. The come up is mostly what I gauge the purity by.

Also, general rule of thumb if it's bitter, it's a spitter.

yeah... there always has been a key tell for LSD. For me it was always an out of the corner of my eye strobe effect.

While I got some intense visuals off a 25i dose recently my head was still there. LSD generates a different kind of effect, the head space the visuals they all kind of work togeather.

Only on some serious LSD will you see a sound move across a cieling like a fish in water...... and it litterally had the word 'sound' on it and made a noise...! and I wasn't the only person who saw it in the room, there is a mental and visual fusion as it builds

thats LSD.

LSD is MORE potent and 2 hits should do ya right for a good 6 to 8 hours. In many ways 25i is close to LSD, bit of a better body high though. LSD is more in your mind, your mind can make your body feel great, it can also make you body feel awful but it is all in your head.........

no ID threads

Different drugs feel different ;-) and you can get reagent tests for LSD. They aren't terribly practical, but they do exist and are easy to find.
