right now i'm taking 100 mg of zoloft and just recently got a prescription for concerta 15mg 2nd time on it.. I smoke weed almost everyday and I never had problems with weed and zoloft mixed. Would I be ok taking all this everyday? I plan on tapering off the zoloft in about a month

The weed won't be a problem. I'm not sure about the zoloft and the concerta though. If you have a prescription for both, just ask your doctor (might want to leave out telling him about the weed though).

Both zoloft and concerta are prescribed so I know they're safe together and my doc knows I smoke as well

Concerta can increase the effects of the Zoloft by decreasing its metabolism. The interaction should be minor and non significant.

If you're unsure, double check with a pharmacist or your prescribing doctor first. They know your body better than us. :)

Then you got your answer ...
Moreover I've been prescribed the same stuff and there were no problems.

I'm more curious to see if anyone else actually use this combination as well

I have- no negative effects at all and I actually felt quite euphoric for a couple hours. I took my prescribed 100mg Zoloft and then 40mg Concerta.

Stimulants and ssri's are commonly prescribed, you should be fine. Stimulants actually increase the blood levels of ssri's allowing the user to gain better clinical effects in a shorter period of time.

It should be no problem. From personal experience I've found that stimulants cancel the effects of weed. In terms of safety it should be fine.

I've been smoking while on both meds and so far It's fine. Just need to get off the fucking zoloft. and I don't think it cancles the effects of the weed just feels like a different high but definitely a better high more mellow and euphoric which zoloft completely took both away from me without concerta

In general, amphetamines and other sympathomimetic appetite suppressants should not be combined with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) or serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs). Close monitoring for enhanced sympathomimetic effects and possible serotonin syndrome is recommended if these agents must be used together. Symptoms of the serotonin syndrome may include mental status changes such as irritability, altered consciousness, confusion, hallucinations, and coma; autonomic dysfunction such as tachycardia, hyperthermia, diaphoresis, shivering, blood pressure lability, and mydriasis; neuromuscular abnormalities such as hyperreflexia, myoclonus, tremor, rigidity, and ataxia; and gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal cramping, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

When first being prescribed an ssri and ritalin I did some research on interactions and found that as well, though I can't remember where. After further research and talking to my doctor I learned that serotonin syndrome while a possibility is extremely rare in these situations. First both the ssri and the stimulant need to be taken at or near the maximum recommended doses to create any cause for concern and even then SS isn't at all a certainty. Doctors prescribe this combination all the time and since you (OP) are taking fairly low doses of each you should be fine. The main concern I've found is with older the anti-depressants mainly tricyclics which zoloft isn't. As for your concerns about smoking there's really no interactions that could occur between any of the chemicals. Though if you're prone to anxiety/paranoia smoking with any stimulant can increase the possibility of it occuring so just something to keep in mind.
