(LSD / 3 hits) First trip DISASTER

Ill keep this quick. I dropped 3 hits of supposedly very high quality lsd and it was everything i had hoped for the mind bending effects and fantastic color and sense of well being. I left my house and wanted to be at one with nature. I wandered into the nearby woods and after about 5 minutes over wandering ( beats headphones in ear) i felt a crazy sting. I proceeded and kept feeling the stinf. I worried that i was about to have a bad trip and flipped shit and i was right. Except i can blame natue for this one. Turns out i had stepped in a yellow jacket nest (they make ground nests. And they were everywhere. I ripped out my 150$ headphones and booked, still getting stung, i was totally lost and was running in differen directions after like 15 minutes of running aimlessly and getting stung i ran out next to a busy main Road nearly got hit by a car and rolled around in the median while stripping off my clothes. All of them. I just wanted to stop the pain. A police officer pulled over and told me to stay still i booked across the street (balls out naked) and back into the woods, tried to find my brand new iphone 4s i got for christmas and headphones but i couldnt. Eventually i found a way out and had to fucking RUN BACK TO MY HOUSE NAKED. So many people saw including neighbors ( i tried to take as many shortcuts behind houses as possible but that wasnt necesarily better lol) i made it in my back door locked up my house. And tried to enjoy the rest of my trip. After an hour i somewhat forgot about it and had a decent first tri but those first 2 hours were a living fucking nightmare.

I just wanted to share my story im sure you will get a laugh out of it. i find it funy now.

Fuck bees and be careful with your drug induced explorations :)
 
this is more Trip Reports material, but lol. Glad it wasn't much worse (getting arrested).
 
That sounds like it does indeed fit the "disaster" description.

As RhythmSpring said, this is a much better fit for Trip Reports so I'm going to send it over :)
 
Omg... I've been stung by ONE yellowjacket wasp before and my whole foot swelled up. I can't imagine being attacked by a whole nest of them, and while on LSD! I think if that happened to me while tripping I would lose my mind.

Poor guy! Kudos to you for being able to laugh about it though. That sure is a funny story to share with friends!
 
Is there a funny/memorable/horrible drug experience thread? I couldn't find one UTFSE. There should be, I have read some great stuff. Harm reduction through not wanting to be that guy. Like RhythmSpring says, glad it wasn't worse. I saw a documentary about how yellowjackets are now in Hawaii. Since they don't have a harsh winter, the nests grow enormous, and they likely would've killed you if you stepped on one of those.
 
O my damn that's painful! Yet wrongly funny! Slightly Reminds me of the movie Tommyboy -Chris Farley get out the car & yell bees! I hate those nasty stings glad you are okay OP!
 
That sounds terrible. I had something similar happen on a camping trip once. Me and a buddy were out picking Amanitas, had filled up a bunch of gallon ziplock bags, and sat down to rest and smoke a joint. Apparently the tree stump he sat on had a trap door hornets nest on the ground in front of it. My friend was deathly afraid of bees and anything like it, started screaming, crying, beating the shit out of himself. I was trying to calm him down, whilst getting stung repeatedly, including in the face (I was actually watching one right next to my eye repeatedly sting me). We ran, but it took a LONG time to lose all of them.

I couldnt imagine that shit during a trip, I'd probably be scarred for life from something like that. Glad you're laughing about it now.
 
Why is it always you americans that have these stupid, pointless and quite frankly reckless trips?
Just giving a bad name to the good name of LSD.

It's almost as if having a trip is more about having a wild crazy time so you can expand your ego when you tell all your friends about it geeeze.....

Oh c'mon. :) Everyone has their fair share of mishaps. Poor fellow! Can't believe you made it through such a terrifying ordeal. Congrats on having no legal issues.

Obviously it was his own stupidity that he stepped on that wasp nest, in our perfect Europe these things never happen! OP should be beheaded!

Really though, you can't even blame drug stupidity on this one. Ground nests are often hard to see, I once sat on a red ant colony. NOT a fun experience, they bite and once there are 30 or so (maybe more?) of them on your body it's truly terrifying. To experience the same thing but with wasps and on LSD, oh my.
