how long can i preserve DMT?

so i've been planning to use n,n-DMT for a while now. but i'm not sure yet when i'm going to do it because I want to feel ready for it. So how long can i preserve it? i've got it sealed in a dark place, but i heard stuff about a freezer? It could be months before I feel like i'm ready, it could be tomorrow.
and what dosage do you suggest for a first time user? I was thinkin about 25mg. I'm 1.98m and weigh 75KG. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Keep it in the fridge or freezer in an envelope and it will be fine. That's what I did.

If I remember reading, samples of YOPO found buried for centuries had the expected amount of DMT/5-MeO-DMT in the samples tested. Like mescaline, should be good for ages in stored in dark, cool, dry conditions.
 
The optimum conditions for storage of chemicals is cold, dry, dark and oxygen-free.

The more of these criteria you can meet, the better. I recommend a sealed container inside a freezer. Stored in this way, drugs will outlive you.

Worth noting though, if you remove drugs from the container while still cold, they will attract condensation, which is to be avoided. The best way to avoid this is to leave them in the sealed container until they reach room temp.

It doesnt hurt to just start small though; But i found smaller doses to be more scary/fearful then bigger doses;

The ego on lower doses doesn't die; but on larger doses you transcend fear and ego there is no more I only the Universal Infinite self

Convert to the fumurate salt using the fasa method (or similar) and store in an airtight container in the freezer with dessicant and an o2 absorber around it and it should last a very long time, from my understanding.

Note 1: Fumurate salts are to my understand far more stable than fb.
Note 2: If you want to smoke it when the time comes to use it, you must convert back to fb using any number of easy conversion methods that you can find on the web. If you want to take it orally or insulflate, fumurate is preferable.

Just store in a freezer, but make very good sure that no water can enter the DMT container and that no water or air (or very minimal) is enclosed, best is to add a pack of desiccant.

My DMT did not seem to degrade significantly even after many months - even years maybe.

I've been thinking about this for the past days and I think you are right. I'll never be ready for it but I want to experience it once. so now I'm waiting for the perfect conditions for both mind and enviroment and when i'm with people I feel safe with.
