I miss Spade

Aye but ginger isn't exclusive to Scottish/Irish people. You get people of all nationalities cursed with the ginj.

The people who live on the North East Turkish Black Sea coast, I can't remember their "race", north-easterners then...that region has a high proportion of ginger Turks. Very odd looking. Freckly too some of them.

Also, they are the butt of many "Irishman" type jokes about stupidity etc.

I will make a stark admission, I was born a bit of a ginge, by some kind of miracle my hair had changed to brown by the time I was about 2 years old. God trolling my parents or something. Still got a bit of a ginger beard if I grow it, although that isnt really exclusive to gingers. A turkish mate of mine decided to grow a massive beard at secondary school for some reason (he was one of those people that had to start shaving at about 12), some proper islamic cleric business. It was black until it got to about 30cm long then had a big ginger tuft at the end, looked fucking hilarious.

One of them "Strawberry blonde" fakers are you?

How does the end of a foot-long beard turn ginger and not the rest? Surely must've died or bleached it or summat? Does seem to be quite popular to have gingery bits amongst some Islamic folk. Or am I just making that up? Don't think I'm making it up but maybe I am...

One of me full-on ginger brothers has been to India on fishing trips a coupla times (lucky swine :! (the travel bit not so much the fishing)) and apparently the locals like to touch his gingeriness. To the point of being treated as a borderline demigod in some areas. Think it's a religious thing cos (natural) gingers are probably a bit rare over there.

They go mad for ginners in India. You'll see a fair few indian men wandering round with their hair died ginger.

I wonder if they are feeling like its xmas Eve and they won't get any sleep tonight, bless their little cotton socks.

not read the thread, don't plan on it, I don't miss him. He'll be back when he is ready or remembers. He's had long breaks before, not exactly new for him, most likely forgot about the site whilst doing real life. I almost forgot for a while, but it's nice to have bl to come visit when I'm researching other stuff or and am stuck on my writing.

can we changge this to the wild speculation about the spade thread?

it seems he must be travelling the country doing it since started in the east or wales or wherever. Does he ever cross the border?

I believe they banned all Polish IP addresses, to stop him ever getting back on... ;) Nah, it's something like that. A proper permanent ban. Shame, he was most entertaining.

Harry was really the architect of his own downfall. He got warnings, ignored them, then got temp-banned. If he'd just sat out the ban, there'd have been no problem. But he created an alt (the alt claimed it was his girlfriend - who had only decided to join BL the same time that he got banned. So further bans. So he kept registering alts, they kept getting banned. Finally he stopped. [This all happened when I was off staff, fwiw. This is stuff that was publicly available in here]

The thing is, BL is incredibly forgiving of past bad behaviour. There are people on staff now who've been banned multiple times. But they clearly came back and became good members, and it would seem that that's good enough for the senior staff (rightly, IMO). Harry could have gone that way, if he'd wanted to.
