You make a good point though. I doubt we know the half of what folk were really capable of back then. The Antikythera Device gives us one of the few glimpses we do have of quite how impressive technology was in some areas at the time. Clearly such an item didn't just drop from the sky fully-formed. Unfortunately, bleedin' Christians didn't approve of such "witchcraft" so almost all traces of such things are wiped from history :\

And to be fair, if anybody jumped out of an item of furniture I don't own (omniscient, eh?) then I'd likely shit meself. Not sure that's the effect the almighty's zombiechild would be after but it's what he'd be getting.

I did pop over to TheSpade's house, and gave him a 'dirty sanchez' (a poo-tash), as he slept. I was bored. Other than that, I made sure Mailmonkey got a 'Special Delivery' of tainted mephedrone. He's a proper pervert, that one.

One more thing, 'Shammy', if you look on Wikipedia, you'll see that the word omniscient doesn't necessarily include the knowing of the future - hence the free-will. Bless you, my child.
 
Ha! It's good to know that the Almighty uses wiki for his definitions :D

And even better to know he doesn't know the definition of "omiscient" cos it means "all knowledge". That means all knowledge. Unless you fudge it to mean "almost all knowledge" as discussed earlier. That definition only came about when it was realised the original meaning precluded free will. But of course you knew that, eh? ;)

It's not only us mere mortals that are a bit scuppered on the free will front if actual omniscience was a trait of any proposed deity. Entire Christian denominations have splintered off as a result of this problem in their basic theology dontcha know? Is not just me being curmudgeonly about it. Go talk to Mr Calvin. He knew the score.

I always thought it must be hermaphrodite. Kinda depends on which bit of Genesis you read really. Is a bit of a mash-up but about as close to a description as you get.

There is a good bit in one of the books when God moons Moses (think it's Moses - one of those OT fellas anyway) but it doesn't say whether he gets a glimpse of vag or balls. Or both or summat inbetween.
