what about temping/filling in so they can take their time to recruit the right persons for the job rather than rushing because of the situation?

Idiots cant be to difficult to manage surely? Just make it a criteria that idiots cant apply... ahh but then we are all idiots ..hmmm hey how about importing some moderators from elsewhere? Some non idiotic corner of Bluelight.. Shame there aren't more Germans.. they'd soon establish some order.

I don't know how you can do it Strutter. Popped over there today to see the 1500th "losing the magic" thread at which point i left.

EADD would be a better place to moderate but you get a shit-load of arguing that needs a lot of reading to moderate........We had a member called mrsmokesblunts who loved nothing more than a 10000 word debate on......anything! Full time job to moderate him alone. Sadly banned now though.

Part of the job I guess. Got some guy calling me a "typically arrogant British" person, saying how basically I'm a jumped up cunt. Too busy with my dissertation at the moment to even formulate a decent response.
 
Could it work as some sort of a cooperative.?

I know shit about what mods do.. I basically hang out in a few social threads.. just doing a bit of blue sky thinking.

Thats a shame that we cant pull some kind of co-op together.. So many people here with different strengths and talents. You'd be good at co-ordinating* but wouldnt live long lol.
