Hey guys! I am an old member (on another name) and I dont have access to that old account or the email used for that account so I can't recover it. So I am going to tell you a little about me!
I am a long time opiate addict (5 years) and I have been injecting Dilaudid for 3 years. I have a form of muscular dystrophy called Charcot Marie Tooth disease. I was diagnosed with this 5 years ago (hense the addiction to pain meds). A complication of disease is called neuropathy. Basically its when your nerves start dieing. When this happens it causes enormous amounts of pain signals being sent to your brain. There is no cure to this and while usually this isn't fatal, it is progressive and the locations of my neuropathy means that eventually I will become paralyzed and then I wont be able to breath on my own.
My Dr, who is one of the leaders in neuropathy and as such, knows how much pain someone with neuropathy can be in (Worse than alot of cancer patients). Not a whole lot is actually known about neuropathy and what pain pill works for 1 person wont work at all for another I have been prescribed almost every type of pain pill to find which works best for me (From Oxycodone to Fentanyl to Opana to Oxydose (liquid oxy) to methadone to butrans (bupe patches), to Dilaudid). Right now I am prescribed 500 8mg pills and I buy another 400 4mg's from another patient of that doctor. Also on bad pain months I have a option to occasionally get 120 15mg oxy's on top of my Dilaudid prescription. While this may seem like alot (and believe me it is) again I state that the pain caused by neuropathy is as bad as any pain out there (Think of a thousand red hot knives being shoved in your back and legs and twisted around and around.
Without my prescription I cant even function (and I can barely breath without them), but as an effort to help my mental disorders (social and regular anxiety, and severe suicidal depression) I use them recreationally. 3 years ago I switched from snorting to injecting dilaudid. The difference between snorted/plugged dilaudid to injected is night and day. You cant even compare the two. It is bliss in a shot. I do around 152mg of IVed dilaudid a day and my shots can go up to over 56mg in a single shot. I am careful to only use what I can without spending money on them<snip>. Also I dont reuse/share needles, I use proper sterile and vein care procedures. I also use luer lock 27g 1/2in needles with 3ml barrels (syringes). I also wheel filter with both 0.8 and 0.2ug filters (first the 0.8 so the 0.2 doesnt clog) and I use the 0.2 for the benefits of cleaning most bacterium.
I have used most drugs out there, prescription or otherwise and I do sometimes partake in some hallucinogens. I also work as a programmer at home for the 2nd largest insurance company in America and get paid very well for it. I am doing very well considering my extremely bad medical problems.
I have alot more to say but I dont want to bore you all and sadden you guys with my problems but I am doing GREAT!
Nice to meet you guys!
David
