It was made only 5 shorts years after the event so vibe and feel is very authentic plus great acting.the film doesnt demonise manson. On a minor technical point, how exactly did a film about the Manson Family manage to not include any child murder? Not that I've gone all pro-life or owt... but as abortions go it was fairly... well... murderous.
