DXM - my shit s green!

Merry Christmas guys.

So I tried DXM for the first time last night - pure HRr powder from a reputable source (according to safeorscam.com anyway). I bombed 200mg, but due to a long day at work, 3mg etizolam and two beers I fell asleep before really coming up on it. I know I know, a complete waste of drugs. I definitely felt something before passing out - a kind of mild MDMA-like feeling of tactile pleasure and increased music appreciation (although The Trail of Van Occupanther is possibly too good to be significantly enhanced by any drug) in line with what I've read about the first plateau. So I'm pretty satisfied that it's real dextromethophan.

But the point is that I just got home from a couple of drinks with a friend (it's quarter to eleven where I am now) and went for a shit and when I wiped my arse the tissue came back smeared with green shit. I'm not talking about green flecks, I wouldn't be too concerned about that, but a bright, verdant green. I've never seen anything like it in my entire life.

So... what? Anyone else had green poo after DXM? Could it just be a coincidence? Should I be concerned about it? Should I not do it again (DXM that is, not shit)?

It's been many years since I've done DXM in any form, but I don't remember it ever changing the color of my shit (and I used to do like a gram every weekend ;)). Green poo could just be an excess amount of bile that went through your colon too fast to get broken down properly. If it happens one time it's probably not a big deal. Have you been eating a lot of greasy food lately?
 
No more than usual. I don't have the healthiest diet in general, but last night I had a home cooked meal of roast chicken, rice and peas.

I think I'll see if my faeces returns to it's normal hue, and if it does I'll try DXM again. If it has the same result I'll assume there is a link. The scientific method in action.

i used to drink a lot of grape soda and some of the brands have the side effect of turning your shit green. it's pretty well known. if you google 'green poop' you'll find websites devoted to explaining various poop colors and their causes.
 
^ Cool beans. I did not expect to be googling 'green poop' on Christmas eve this year, but life is unpredictable I guess.
 
Green poo is freaky, no matter what the context. But usually it's harmless.

@Never Knows Best - Followed your suggestion tonight. It look ages to come on and when it did it was interesting but underwhelming. Got some definite CEVs (which was nice because rarely have visuals) and felt a little dissociated but not much. I think I might be tolerant due to quite a lot of MXE and 3-MeO-PCP use in the past few months. Maybe I should give my NMDA receptors some time off, they probably deserve it.

My shit is back to it's usual colour-range. I reckon it was probably coincidental. Thanks for your replies everyone. I hope you're getting to relax in the time between Christmas and New Year, and if you do have to work or study I hope you get to take it fairly easy.
