New Year Revolutions

that time of year again!! i like most try but never end up sticking to it (hope you all had a grand Christmas btw:)) don't post often but this year i'm packing it all in. well not everything (haha can never do that) but cutting back not going to drink as much and cut out pretty much all drugs except to odd bit of DMT here and there.
drinking everyday and paying stupid amounts for decent(ish) coke just doesn't seem worth the bother anymore.
so what are your hopes for 2013?
 
how was the level 2 stuff then? never heard of it before if its good might have to give it ago


Fucking amazing, but if you dont take any green powder just start on level 1.
Even better if cleansing for the first time just take triphala for a month, most of these green powder hardcore cleanses will break you out in major rashes and pimples when you start, not a pretty sight but you will feel so much better

Triphala is much more gentle for a january detox , even if you puke and crap your guts out for the first week or so

Best of luck with that. Going to dextox myself also. It shouldn't be as much of a cunt as previous though as I wasnt using much before the run up to Chirstmas.

Tapering everything down from the last 2 weeks to NYE

Booze, Coke, Benzo's

Done it previous years, just have to have an iron will to start about now and when NY day rolls around you feel much better.
Benzo taper started a long time ago, so tapering the booze will be a doddle in comparision

I reckon in about a year's time every single thread title on BL will be spelled incorrectly.
 
My resolutions are to carry on staying off the heroin, reduce my methadone and to get a job, can't stand having no money and nothing to get up for each day.
 
Quit smoking as I've done fine with having about two cigarettes in over a week, and keep losing weight.

And take my work more seriously.

Easy ones in theory, let's see how they work in practice.
 
I want to give up cigarettes, i don't know if saying I'll start some other date that NY is just the addict in me making excuses & procrastinating.

Find an outdoor job to volunteer at max, something like the Nat Trust fence & hedge mending or a community scheme. I know it sounds like a pain in the ass but it's a good way to stay focused, I bet you'd work with some sound people and grow to love it. In the spring loads of woodlands and stuff want volunteers and often provide transport. Its nice work where you can just get your head down and work on your own but have a chat if you want to, and a good stepping stone back to the disciplines of a job. And you never know what opportunities may come from it.

I know it may sound naff, but don't dismiss it out of hand. It'll help you in your other NY resolutions. The physical tiredness alone helps combat cravings when they crop up. You're vulnerable just knocking about aimlessly.

My new year's resolution is simple: Keep my job.

Either get me a methadone script, or not; but either way, smoke a bit less of the gear. I've been going a bit crazy since the pre-drought stuff came back on the scene and I've begun noticing it affecting me. I'm not saying I'll give up altogether -- I know there'll probably always be a hit with my name on it somewhere around the next corner. Just hafta stay away from that corner :)
 
^ Or get to the point where you see the corner but dont want to go round it cos you know it leads to utter gak :) I hope you reach that point but it can be a long road. I hope everyone who uses reaches that point. OK i'll stop with the anti heroin propeganda :)

I've got a few more - eat my 5 a day, eat 2 healthy meals a day and drink 2 pints of water a day. Shouldnt be hard, in theory :|
 
2 pints of water? no where near enough,

i probably should cut down on booze and 6-apb, been meaning to cut down on booze for years. the 6 im gonna stop but knowing what im like ill replace it with something else. smoke more dmt. managed my previous and pretty much stopped doing meph, got my diet right back on track and been on healthy food all year n loads of hydration to combat kidney aches
 
excellent plan =D me also. got enough to get me tripping my silly tits off quite a few times
 
1) To continue my sober-ism and clean time (been clean 3 months 1 week)
2) Take driving lessons and pass my test in max 3 months
3) Starting gyming again and get my perfect body.
