I would prefer some beer & a singapore chow mein with the tv but my step family don't see things as simple as I do sadly
My family are the same, just a bit too fucking formal. It's kind of obvious that they'd enjoy themselves much more if they let their hair down but they're in the habit, come to think of it my mum is Hyacinth Bucket although she'd swear she is not.
I just drove 8 miles to my nearest Tesco through flooded roads. A lot of it down the sort of country lanes you only ever see when TV shows rally cross or whatever it's called. My car now looks like a cow pat, despite the torrential rain.
Driving through the floods is great.
carefull you don't "aqua plane" (sp?)
Seen it happen before & it threw the car right across the road into a tree on the other side
You should see the Norwegian roads, I shit myself everytime. They are 2 way traffic but just wide enough for 1 car, you have a pure drop of several 100 feet only a few inches away from the car & if your going up the road & you meet another car someone has to reverse back down untill you find a decent place for them to pass.
I have been out in cars before in the UK racing out in the sticks etc & know how fun it is but I promise you those roads I been on over there scare the living shit out of me, the last time I actually said a prayer to "God" to keep me safe as I was that scared.
is it just me?harm reduction advice is what i look for in audio software.
Erm, not sure actually SHM, I think my then gf's dad lives there and I think we visited him and that all that happened but it was a while and a concerted attempt to block out lots of facts and feelings ago.
edit: wiki is down! we may never know.
Tenerife used to be the same. We let a pissed Spanish waiter drive us home in a Renault 4. Not the most stable of cars on a mountain side....but by far the worst place I've been is, surprisingly, Gran Canaria. The interior is beautiful and mountainous and, as you say, they have two way traffic on one way sized roads and drops to make you shit yourself.
